[Q] HTC One modem mode

I can bring up the diag menu from entering *#*#3424#*#* but there is no option to put it into diag mode or modem mode from there. you can only run some tests. How to I enter modem mode, or diag mode so that I can get programming apps to find the phone on the 16com port. Supposedly when it is done right the port will say HTC DIAG instead of com16. :confused:
