I have a galaxy tab 8.9 with Cwm installed (Gt-P7310)

I've been trying out different rom's lately.

After returning to the stock Ics had noticed that only free memory 1 Gb. Before trying the Rom's had a free space of 6 gb.

The Sd folder has a size of 6 Gigas. I do not know where they might be the other 5 gb.

Is there any way to delete the entire contents of the tablet and re-install android? Something similar to format a pc?

I've tried installing with Odin, but the end had the same available space.

Have you tried wiping the sdcard partition?

0. Before you do this make a nandroid backup and transfer that backup to your pc, along with any important files you want to keep.

Download a and and put them on the sdcard partition.

1. In recovery, wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik.

2. Install a new ROM and Gapps.

This next part could be risky. If something went wrong with your flash, it might be a pain to get files back on to fix it, but if you know how to use ADB, it is easy enough. That being said, most flashes go fine, and you shouldn't have any trouble.

3. Wipe the sdcard partition. Reboot. When all is said and done, you should have around 10 or 12 gb of space.

Thanks for the tip.

I had already tried to wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik and install a new rom with no results.

But I found the problem:

The Camera folder was duplicated in: / data / media.

After removing it I was the free space que I expected.

Thanks for your help!
