Update for 19.4.A.0.182

Hi,

The latest V3 has been released and works properly with 19.4.A.0.182. I have tested it for about a week, and didn't experience any problems. Recovery works properly now and you won't get any bootloops. As usual, RIC has been disabled.
Note : - It is very important to disable selinux or else you won't be able to access your internal storage. Disable selinux by going to /system/etc and add this line at the end of init.qcom.post_boot.sh :-
Code:
echo 0 > /sys/fs/selinux/enforce

Reboot and enjoy.

Hello friends.
Everytime I install twrp, or it works fine, but boot in blank screen, or I got the system working but when I try to reboot to recovery, don't succeed. I have at the moment the 4.4.3 installed and properly rooted.
Thanks in advance for some helpful explanation.

Hi,
Can you please tell how you flashed it, because I'm new to it.
Did u disable the selinux enforcement if yes how? Before flash or after flash??.
Whether I need to unlock bootloader to flash?? Or I can directly flash it?
(sorry for my bad English)
Thank you

The recovery should be available on the DevDB backup server if you know the file name.

    Lollipop update

    Hi guys,

    Changelog for V4:-
    Code:
    V4
    -->Updated for Lollipop (19.3.A.0.470)
    -->Dual Recovery (TWRP & CWM)

    You now directly flash supersu via recovery. Writing to /system is still restricted for now. The following steps can be followed to disable ric :-
    1. Create a file called ric.sh on your storage. Open it and add this line -
    Code:
    echo 0 > /sys/kernel/security/sony_ric/enable
    setenforce 0
    2. Download SManager from playstore and click on ric.sh in the file browser. Choose the SU and boot icons and click on save.
    3. SManager will now run the script at boot so you can write to /system without any problems.

    Enjoy :)

    Update

    Hi,

    V2 for lollipop has been released. Changelog :-
    Code:
    -->Updated for 19.3.A.0.472
    -->RIC disabled from kernel sources :D

    Sony seems to have fixed their selinux policies with the new .472 update, so there won't be any problems with the storage. RIC has been completely removed from the kernel (no more r/w problems of /system). I would recommend a clean flash of 19,3,A.0.472 using Flashtool (i.e wipe data too) to avoid any problems. If you experience any problems, please do a clean flash.

    Cm 12.1 update - It doesn't get past the sony bootloader logo, no display. It will take some time.

    Enjoy. :)
