With the latest version of Google Play Store, Google 4.8.20 happens to me a curious thing, the icons have a black background.

Does anyone have the same problem? Any solution?

Same issue here. Using stock JB 4.2.1 (rooted). No issues with previous versions of Google Play, tried clearing data, cache same issue. Restarted phone and still the same. Reverting to 4.6.16 solves the issue but on wifi, it will automatically update to 4.8.20. The only version that seems to stay is the stock version which is 4.5.10. I really like this new version but the black borders are becoming more of an eye sore.

ATM I'm using version 4.5.10. Wish Google could take a look on this. According to the update, icons are now much bigger and it looks like the icons on my Google Play did not even change at all, thus the black borders all around it. Have another phone with JB 4.2.2 and it looks fine. Could it be a bug on phones running on 4.2.1? Anyone having the same issue on ICS or GB here?
