How to FIX INVALID MODEL ID after bad flashing

ho lo stesso problema,ma in tutta sincerita' non e' molto chiaro il post.il file bin come lo eseguo? non so uelo ho anche altre i comandi dove li devo eseguire?

Invalid model ID and not supercid (x7501)

I have read a lot a threads on my current issue and I didn't succeeded to correct my problem!

I tried to upgrade my HTC X7501 from WM6.1 to WM6.5. I did something wrong, didn't update the radio before going from SPL 1 to SPL 3.5 and now the only thing I can do with my X7501 is to get in bootloader mode (Red, Green, Blue, and white screen). It looks like I don't have an OS anymore on my machine. My HTC is CID, but not superCID. Any tool that I try to use from my Windows 7 PC to update doesn't work because there is no Image Version. It tried reflashing the original ROM with an SDCard and I got the following result:

Then
back to Red, Green, Blue, White screen with Serial in the bottom.

I think my phone is not SuperCID because when I run task 32 from mtty_0513_Test.exe I got the following result

ReadCommBlock: task 32
ReadCommBlock: Level = FF

Based on my reading on the threads I think Level=FF mean the phone is not superCID!

I also try the info commands on MTTY and there is the result:

I'm using Windows 7 professional (French version) and I also have Windows XP mode from a Virtual PC on my Windows 7 PC.

you cant go from spl 1.1 to spl 3.5 directly
when you unlock the phone you get spl 1.2 and then you can run the AP4 update
I think sd card flashing is only possible after unlocking.
You need to find the original RUU for your phone and try to flash it while you are in bootloader.
remove the sd and sim card when you try this.
I am not sure which language rom coincides with spl 1.1 but do a search on this forum
when you have a functioning rom then run the unlocker

Thanks lakeman for the help... However, even when trying you suggestion, I still have the same issue.

I'm not sure what is the right version for my HTC x7501. I'm trying the one that I think is the original ROM english version: RUU_Athena_HTC_US_2.19.453.4_105_1.47.51.00_Ship.

When I run ROMUpdateUtility.exe from that ROM when I get to the screen where it show the Image Name... The from: Image version: is empty, the tool doesn't recognise at all the image on my HTC... (I think I don't have an image anymore).

Then it starts updating the ROM image on my PDA Phone... Goes up to 1% then...

I got the following message:
ERROR [244]:INVALID MODEL ID
This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check you Update Utility.

It also shows on the bottom right: HDA4-AUJH5567-HUEbc57>-AUJH5567

Let me know if you can think of anything else that I can try?
Do you think I'm using the right ROM? I bought my HTC x7501 unlocked from an online canadian web site, it was an english version WM6 with a qwerty keyboard.

I really need help... Is someone having any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

hey guys...
i have flashed a spl 3.5 rom in an spl 1.2 and the phone was dead(only boot loader worked) and in boot loader it says...

IPL 1.10
\\
Spl 1.20 Olipro

I wasn't available to install a wm 6.1 rom because it fails and says that the model id was invalid.
Thanks this forum and thanks cmonex i was able to get my phone live again.
The resolve of my problem was just to change my mac adress(is a step by step guide in the forum to change wifi mac adress).
Now in boot loader says:

ATHE100
IPL 1.10
ATHE100
Spl 1.20 Olipro

If you have the same problem just do what i do and reply if it succeed.

I have the same problem here, can not flash anything, it's stuck at 0%

What should I do now?

its a long time since I used this machine

make sure the sd and sim cards have been removed
I can't remember if the 7501 accepted 7500 roms , do a search
I think SPL 1.1 means you arent unlocked yet.

stuck in bootloader.
I have a HTC Athena x7500.

Wend I turn on the device, it goes directly to bootloader and
the screen is:

ATHE 100
IPL - v1.00
ATHE 100
SPL-v3.05.0000 OR my old spl is 1.10
I have tried to change the language of my athena and then he died :spanish > fransh
USB (wend is to connect)
series (wend is unconnectable).

I can not turn the unit off by pressing the button, but must take
the battery.

I have tried with hardspl its not working
I want a solution in the forum xda-develop it says my q must upgrade to the rom of espana oficial
After downloading the rom:Advantage_HTC_SPA_2.21.412.1_1.50.00.00_Ship
I tried to upgrade to this rom May j has a mesage on my athena screen:

Search for CID Unlock.
Restores Model ID and makes it free to flash.

actually I have fix it) 1st it was a bad command 761080000 instead 751080000 2nd i had to play with MAC, it doesn't accept old HTC Universal MAC but have accept LinkSys WiFi adapter
