This project have two things in mind: Speed and Storage Space.

  • First part(Speed):

    It will be the lightest ROM you can find. It´s optimized for speed and storage space so you can use it to make your own personalized ROM. Just have the essencial SO apps and some basic 3rd ones.

    You can say it´s like an Windows XP after instalation, it´s clean for you.

  • Second part(Storage Space):

    Because this ROM have only the essencial things in it, you have an huge storage space to install whatever you want.

    And because there are no old versions build in the ROM, no files will be replaced so no duplicated space is wasted. Incompabilities and errors caused by instalations over older versions are gone with NIKI Lite ROM.

    I will make an list with the most used apps, so you can download and install them as you wish.

With 3D Hardware Acceleration. Install this .cab on the 3D ROM: HtcClassAction Driver/Tools .cab

ROM based one the latest NIKI´s official, SYS 5.2.19965, XIP 19965.1.2.3.

I recomend using the RADIO 1.65.29.22 with this ROM: RUU Nike Radio 1.65.29.22

Newer 3D Hardware Accelerated ROM with the display driver of the Cruise(DDI.dll). Optimized for 3D use.

Download NIKI Lite V2.1 3D HW ROM here

Newer 2D ROM, not hardware accelerated, but it´s the best we can get now for 2D. Optimized for 2D use.

Download NIKI Lite V2.1 2D ROM here

Hehe, thanks twolf!

Sry about the RAM, I know you like lots of free RAM, but this newer ROMs need bigger pagepools. This one uses a PP of 27MB.

But is using the same amount as the NIKI Lite V1, around 20MB for the OS, services and devices, wich is the lower possible on these ROMs.

Yep, it´s me... only changed my nick, didn´t liked that one ...

The V1 didn´t worked as spected, to much problems on the XIP and OEM .rgus... thats why I didn´t released it.

Now I´ve learned a few more things, so I´ve started from scratch, using only the HTC official 6.1 ROM. Finally it´s working...

There is more work to do, this is only the first V2 version... more will come.

BTW, included my Black Windows Media player skin, hope everyone likes it:
