Hi all

Just wondering if its at all possible to use the screens pressure sensor as a measuring surface? I guess it could measure light things up to 5 or so grams?

Stupid novelty I guess...

Ok it seems there is a bit of interest for the ultimate urban tool that will give the HTC Diamond the street cred it deserves. Therefore I’ve decided to professionalize the thread as humorously as possible

Below are the application details and status

Executive Summary:
The ultimate urban tool that will use the built in pressure sensor of the HTC Diamond LCD Touch screen to measure the weight of light objects down to 0.1grams.

Names: (Please feel free to add some names, I’ll keep updating)
1) Diamond Crystal Display
2) DiamaWieght
3) Ice Ice Weighty
4) The real "G"Sensor
5) .... more to come...

hmm, don't think of it as very useful... It could weigh from about 4 grams to maybe 40 grams, regarding the fact that the weight has to be concentrated at one point and not distrubuted over the surface. The fact that keeps me holding back is that the result from weighing someting over 100 grams could easily end op in a sound and screen effect not coming from the program (KKrraaack with the screen affect of shattered glass)
