for x64 systems...
For anyone who is running a 64 bit OS (Vista, 7) and can't get MAM to detect your phone, put abd.exe and AdbWinApi.dll in your Windows/sysWOW64 folder. I was having a helluva time trying to get version 0.51 to detect my phone, I tried all the suggestions here, but had no luck. Then I remembered 64bit systems use the sysWOW64 folder for 32bit compatibility, put the files in there, and it fired right up.

Android manager....help!!!
Alright, Ive downloaded Android Manager, everytime I go to open the program, it tells me that Android Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close then ask if I want to send/not send. Ive gone through CMD and seen that I DO have a connected G1 to ADB, but the application manager isnt working for me. I have a XP, not vista so how do I run in administrator ?

Go use Droid Manager. It's more up to date with more features and it works. It's in this forum also, probably couple pages back.

Thumbs down Dead application
This application is no longer being developed and its website domain hasn't been paid for so it went back to GoDaddy.

Someone please close this thread and/or move it to Trash.

Alternatives are Droid Explorer and Android Commander.
