Hello everyone! As you know, JockyW has successfully tested and developed JumpSPL and HardSPL for the HTC Maple (SNAP) and HTC Cedar (OZONE). This opens the door to endless opportunities in the ROM cooking arena and ROM development. This thread will provide you with "Factory ReFried" ROMS for your Maple. Those of you that have a SNAP can flash the Dash3G ROM. Those that have a Dash3G, can flash a SNAP ROM removing the overwhelming T-Mobile branding and bloatware. Also, if there is any custom cook requests, don't hesitate to ask.

Many custom ROMS as well as my very own Home Cooked Windows Mobile 6.5 meal is coming. But for now, try flashing some of the below ROMS to get acquainted with flashing and the CID bypass process. And, as always, donations recommended to Myself, JockyW, and XDA Developers, as this is not easy work, but not required.

NOTES:
  • These are NOT official Maple factory ROMS and will require JumpSPL or HardSPL to flash
  • These packages only flash the OS (0x400) ROM partition (unless otherwise stated). No Radio or Splashes are included
  • I am not responsible for ANY damage you cause to your device with these ROMS.
  • I highly recommend running JockyW's HardSPL on your HTC Maple (this will ease recovery if something goes wrong)
  • I am NOT responsible for any damage this may cause to your device
WARNINGS:
  • Be sure you know which ROM you are downlading!
  • Maple ROMS are for Maple ONLY
  • Cedar ROMS and for Cedar and Ozone ONLY!
  • Willow ROMS and for Willow and HTC SNAP S511 ONLY!
  • AGAIN, ONLY for MAPLE, CEDAR, and WILLOW users (T-Mobile Dash3G, HTC SNAP S520 and up, HTC Ozone, HTC SNAP S511)
  • Your phone should say MAPL1XX or CEDAXXX under the battery
Flashing Instructions:
  • Remove your SIM and Storage Card
  • You may need to Application Unlock your phone (attached unlocker in this post, run from PC with phone connected)
  • Download the ROM of your choice
  • UnRAR it and run auto.bat
  • Follow all prompts on the screen
  • Hit "yes" and/or "ok" on the device
  • The phone's screen will go ALL BLACK (this is normal)
  • Run the Rom Update Utility and follow the prompts

Thumbs up
These are HTC Splash Screens. Flash these to get the desired boot splash results. The file should explain itself. Filename with "MAPL" is for Maple devices, filename with "CEDA" is for Ozone and Sprint S511. Download and try at your own risk. Read all instructions and docs before flashing!

** HardSPL REQUIRED!
** HTC Maple and CEDAR/WILLOW ONLY
** Experienced users ONLY
** Copy the .NBH file to your ROM Update Utility folder
** Flash at your OWN RISK!!!!!
** READ and understand ALL flashing instructions (posted elsewhere)

These are the latest Maple radio releases. Please download and try in your area. Read all instructions and docs before flashing!

Check your radio version in Settings, About or Settings, Device Information, Version. If your radio is newer, I do not recommend updating unless you are experiencing problems.

** HardSPL REQUIRED!
** HTC Maple ONLY (not Ozone, not SNAP S511)
** Experienced users ONLY
** Flash at your OWN RISK!!!!!
** READ and understand ALL flashing instructions (posted elsewhere)

Thanks alot! Perfect timing, apparently my t-mobile Dash 3G ROM is expired?

How do I hard reset this? That should reset the clock long enough to install a ROM, right?

Wow Time Bomb! You must be on 21040!? Where did you get that Test Device?

Anyways... I think someone once said that if you keep hitting the Home button, the phone will go back to the homescreen. To Hard Reset from Bootloader, hold the "Volume Up" button while you power on the device, then hit SEND to restore. Want a WM 6.5 test ROM?

Sure, why not? I'm on a roll as you can see!

As to where I get this? Well I bought it from someone off of CL. We met in Bellevue near MS. Wouldn't be suprised if this phone was one they we playing with.

Use the spl dump kit from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...1&postcount=29

1. connect device, wait until it is synced
2. extract archive and run spl-backup.bat
3. ignore the prompt of SDA unlocker to reboot your device just carry on
4. in the subfolder 1 you find file spl-backup.bin , zip it and post it here

thx
