[email protected] tried to make a kernel for the i8000.
but we can't get the framebuffer driver to work correctly.

the device has a ARM1176 S3C6410 cpu. there is no device with this cpu running andoid right now.

What about Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica? Pdadb.net claims it has the same CPU as i8000...

other posts in this thread have that the progress is getting there and most of the drivers have been figured out, when can we expect an updated file set? I would love to ditch wm6.5 it locks up and i have to hard reset the phone at least twice a day.

Any new news? or new files? I hear the alpha is really un useable, need something useable, cant lose the phone usuage lol

I am guessing based on the lack of activity on this post that either people nolonger care about having this done (say they bought bigger and better phones).
