The 3% of smart phone users who root their phones, and the even less .005% that will actually return it because of the locked bootloader will not effect their sales in the least bit. Wishful thinking at best
Exactly...this has just about as small a chance as brute forcing the key. The best way around this is to find a back door hack/exploit. There is almost always a loop hole or way to circumvent some things. Even without custom kernels...I'm happy. Custom ROMs plus the stock Froyo kernel will be great.
