Universal Androot doesn't work in 2.2.1 and later because Google patched the vulnerability. Try super one click.

Oficial Gingerbread - 2.3.3 can now be rooted "one click method" with Gingerbreak app. Just search for it on forums.

Hello every one!

I have an htc Tattoo and I've rooted using the Androot method. But I'm not sure if it is really rooted because I still can't use the titanium backup it says "could not acquire root privileges(..)"
I also installed the Rom Manager, flash clockworkMod Recovery with it, tried hit "reboot into recovery" the phone reboots but show a triangle with exclamation point. Can't get in on recovery. Why?

Thanks.
