Very interested in using this to root my LG Ally.. mostly just to get rid of the stock applications that came with my phone. Now if i use this JUST to remove the stock app's, it won't void my warranty? At all? I scrolled through some pages and read alot of this but, i just wanted to make sure. Thanks in advance for a reply.

Did you read the first post?

Rooting allows you (at first) to run certain apps which require system files access. Thats the basics.

If you want more information, look around.

Worked on my Moto XT701. It's opened a whole new world.

I actually read about 20 pages of posts prior to rooting as well, it really helped, but I don't know what I was worrying about, it was SIMPLE.

But the first couple of pages of posts help.

Can confirm that it works on ZTE Blade/Orange San Francisco running Android 2.1/ERE27, though it loses root on reboot (even though the checkbox for "Root temporary (Unroot after reboot)" is left unchecked) so you have to run the app again. Not a big hassle, only takes 10 seconds.
