I tried to root my HTC wildfire phone but it was unsuccessful. I used my Linux and the program Unrevoked which your site recommended for my phone. The program did communicate with my mobile, it installed something and it did reboot my device. However after the reboot it replied with a message that it failed to start a service. I use the AVG anti-virus in my phone. Is this the reason, why it couldn't start the service? It seemed that my anti-virus didn't do anything about the Unrevocked but I don't know. Should I uninstall my anti-virus before I run again the Unrevoked?
Thanks for your help.
