I use the AVG anti-virus in my phone. Is this the reason, why it couldn't start the service? It seemed that my anti-virus didn't do anything about the Unrevocked but I don't know. Should I uninstall my anti-virus before I run again the Unrevoked?

Thanks for your help.

If you've recently updated your WF OTA to 2.2, then there is currently no known way to root it.

Look at the post properly, it doesn't work on a Nexus One if you're newer than FRF91.

Try Super One Click instead, or use the Google approved method of fastboot oem unlock.

Confirmed not working on LG Ally as of the latest update from Verizon. Tried the latest beta. It claims I'm rooted but it isn't, trying to reroot or unroot fails.

LG Ally By Verizon running Android 2.2.1 FRG83D
well since update Verizon put the lock down on soft rooting, ( only wanted for mifi setup using barnical) anyhow. hope the developer will push out a new update that fixes this as his was easiest method so far to do a soft Root with super user access.

if you havent updated your LG ALLY from 2.0 or lower DONT (well that is if you want to keep your root abilitys)

The ally updates by Verizon 2.1 & 2.2.1 have locked out Univeral Androot options.

they added a nice lil MIFI/mobile HOtspot app to the updated phone only telling you that you have to pay an additional $20.00 a month to have access at a limited 2GB of data. (VERIZON is the biggest rip off company I know of lol watch them find away to start charging for updates to your phone next)

Rolling back to older Android Ver?
Btw If anyone knows a way (preferably easy) to roll back your firmware update to a previous one Please point me in the direction so I can research it and try as I loved the earlier versions that I had soft root options for things I like to do with my phone.

Anyhow much appreatiated if you could.

This app is useless on most things now, have you tried SuperOneClick (uses the rageagainstthecage exploit) instead?
