Would this realy help for better performance?
Just a idea, have no clue if it realy works, just wanted to share the info with you guys
This is the info from the site:

SD Formatter 2.0 for SD/SDHC
This software formats all SD memory cards and SDHC memory cards using a formatting program that complies with official SD memory card requirements. SD formatting provides quick and easy access to your SD memory card. This program may only be used on Windows® 2000, Windows® XP and Windows® Vista®.

SD or SDHC memory card file systems formatted with generic operating system formatting software do not comply with official SD memory card requirements and optimum performance may not be experienced.

Jeez,i am formatting it now with this tool, you can sit back and relax when doing it lol.
It first doing a overwrite erase, after that a flash erase, and after that a format.
If i am done i am going back from 0 to android again (including fresh install windows mobile) and a clean android install.
Let's see if this helps

I don't 'notice' a difference.
Total commander says still 18mb/s the speed of the card.
Did not test the speed in Quadrant, later this day i am going to compare that

Edit:
Just tested my new setup with quadrant, old score whas 1364.
Now it says 1443!
I don't no if it has something to do with this 'special' format tool.
Maybey some other people can test it to if you are going to do a clean install?

I've tried the program but with ATTO and a USB Card reader from sandisk. I didn't notice any difference. The benchmark results were almost identical.

With All flash memory starts getting slow with usage. Its why trim was invented for ssd(s).I use [email protected] KillDisk. Zero my card. Then use my phone to format it. Works every time, to cure the "cant find rootfs" issues.

For benchmarking purposes. I put a 6gb of crap data (pictures, mp3, a few movies, etc) on my class 6 8gb kingston sd card. Coped it off. Put it back on replacing everything. I did this 3 times.

"Stock - Windows format":
Read 11mb/s Write: 5.5mb/s
Read 9mb/s Write: 4.2mb/s
Read 5mb/s Write: 3mb/s

Windows Format #2:
Read 8.7mb/s Write: 4mb/s

[email protected] KillDisk:
Read 11.8mb/s Write: 5.7mb/s

just some food for thought. Your mileage will vary.
