Red face Yippee finally updating to official indian froyo
hi guys,

i am updating to the official Indian froyo as we speak For ppl who are already on a different region froyo (JPO), use the attached XML file with KIES Registry Patcher 1.6.0.0 and you are good to go

There is nothing provided into this post to remove it...Wow...

As it has been stated to RyanZA based Lag fix...try installing RyanZa app from Market...perhaps, that can help you...Never install something which has no instruction to remove it.

Just 5 minutes before i have confirmed with Samsung India support centre 18002668282. They are clearly denying that official FROYO 2.2 is not available in INDIA. It will be only available in late December or January 2011

Well done exactly as mentioned above..downgraded to jg4 imei is ok and can make calls.
Now reupgrading to JP6 via kies lets see what happens.

What if it fails again ....

No IMEI and Version as Shown :
PDA : I9000DDJP6
PHONE : Unknown
CSC : I9000ODDJP5
Build Info : 2010.11

Now, what could be the possible solution.

Anybodys help will be highly appreciated.

You said, you have a back up of EFS folder , how did you do that ? I believe after rooting device ?

Cool Indian Froyo handson?
Has anyone given a good run to new froyo? Does it have better gps or improved media player as Samsung marketed?

Wink Upgraded to Indian version
I had the EU version, but used the Kies patcher, changed the code and them did the upgrade. All is well...

Ok i successfully updated my galaxy s to Indian Froyo The details are as below:

PDA:JP6
PHONE:JP2
CSC:JP5

Will be posting the performance details soon
