If you are looking for 3.2, go to the current thread -

The other thread has been used since 1.0 first came out and is quite long now, so I am starting a new one.

VaelPak is a Sense based Non-Sense ROM with lots of tweaks and goodies.

The beta for the re-release is over and this time it is rock solid! Download at will!
If you are currently running Beta #20, you already have this.

Based on 3.70.651.1
Packaged with SBC For Netarchy CFS No-HAVS kernel for unmatched battery life

3.0 Changelog

Removed ((will be) available via VaelPak Settings)
  • Almost all traces of Sense UI
  • All Sprint apps except Voicemail & Navigation

Left in needed files for
  • Facebook Sync

  • Calendar
  • Clock

Side by side AOSP & Sense to choose
  • Contacts & Dialer (packaged deal)
  • Gallery
  • Music

  • Sprint has finally included Swype in the 3.70 OTA so I can add it back in without violating any XDA or AC terms.

Additional features include
  • Fully functioning Hotspot / USB Tether
  • Roam Only option
  • Power menu mod (Reboot / Rapid Reboot / Recovery / HBoot)
  • Custom Super User increasing prompt time out to 20 seconds

  • Ad-block hosts file
  • Updated Maps, GMail, Market, Voice Mail

Other Changes
  • Removed Handcent & ShootMe due to FC's when pre-installed
  • Removed SwiFTP due to duplicated functionality in File Expert

Due to the nature of the changes here, a wipe is recommended unless you are on b18.
You *MUST* not use Clockwork Recovery 3.x. Use either Amon Ra or CW 2.5/2.6
