Thanks so much :good: I switch between them from time to time, only have one problem.
While updating nightly cm10.1 the bootlogo gets set back to CM one. How to make a flashable zip from particles2 so CyanDelta can flash it automatically after a nightly. :confused:

It would be awesomeness to have a boot animation with the green droid guy with roots growing out of him. Any bored boot animation makers out there?

But very busy with freelance work at the moment...who knows someday ;)

i'm still wondering if this work for tablet too or not?
because the boot animation seems for phone device only (vertical boot animation instead of horizontal).

Damn thought that links still work but they don't, could you please update them, or send me new ones so I can download the boot animations?

    HowTo
    The pathnames and filenames may be different for you, so please check that first before asking (Using 480x800_AndroidGlow1.zip as an example file)

    ADB
    - Install the android SDK
    - Open Command Prompt
    - Locate the SDK tools folder where ADB is located (example: <cd c:\android-sdk-windows\tools>)
    - Now enter the following code in Command Prompt
    adb remount
    adb push c:\temp\480x800_AndroidGlow1.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
    adb reboot

    Terminal Emulator
    - Connect your phone to your computer via USB
    - Copy the downloaded file to your sdcard
    - Disconnect phone from computer
    - Open Terminal Emulator on your phone and enter the code below (press enter after every line)
    su
    cp /sdcard/480x800_AndroidGlow1.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
    reboot

    Root Explorer
    - Connect your phone to your computer via USB
    - Rename the downloaded file to 'bootanimation.zip' and copy to your sdcard
    - Disconnect phone from computer
    - Open 'Root Explorer'
    - Copy/Paste the /sdcard/bootanimation.zip to /data/local/ (make sure it's read/write)
    - Reboot

    Installed android particles loop to my phone, but i can't understand. I see only 1.5 or 2 loops, and then some black screen for 3-4 seconds. maybe 5. then phone boot and work.
    If this can be because the animation got insufficient frames? (i mean all the frames are shown, but the phone hasn't loaded)?
    Can any1 comment on it?
