I have no Crystal Ball... what you are looking for... :D

My post was for 1 user... "direct answer"...

Because he is/was on BSA7... this is older as BSE3...

I have NO idea what happens to R805USQU1CSK1...

Seems removed... not available yet as FOTA nor as netOdin packages... nowhere...

Look here, it was short announced from T-Mobile... but now removed...
https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=81106031&postcount=3

No idea if R805USQU1CSL1 is final... nor when it will be released...
Maybe need more Bugfixes... :D ;)

Best Regards

I am new to Samsung. How do you determine which FW is the latest version?

Samsung not official announce what where when...

If you know your active CSC...

You can check for instance FOTA Server.... and Test Server for "Under Constrcution"...
https://xdaforums.com/smartwatch/galaxy-watch/samsung-issue-monthly-builds-galaxy-t4018491

Funny CSC chaos...
https://xdaforums.com/smartwatch/galaxy-watch/galaxy-watch-csc-details-t3934522

If you know your device and you find Firmware packages for netOdin/Odin Tool... then you can extract files from CSC csc.img...
Because LTE devices have less CSC in 1 package...

To see changelog...
You could use official Samsung stuff...

Example...

You know you have this device:
Code:
SM-R805U

You think you have ATT as active CSC...

Then you can "create" this Link with the power of magic brain... :D
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/ATT/SM-R805U/version.xml

Code:
<latest>R805USQU1BSE3/R805UOYN1BSE3/R805USQU1BSE3</latest>

With open eyes you can see BSE3 as latest...

Then you can creat with magic brain and big luck this link:
https://doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-R805U/ATT/doc.html

You see changelog...

Sometimes this not working..

AND if you can't wait and try to look what Samsung is doing behind the scene... in R&D...
You add test. to FOTA Link...
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/ATT/SM-R805U/version.test.xml

Code:
<latest>R805USQU1[B]CSL1[/B][COLOR="Red"][B].DM[/B][/COLOR]/R805UOYN1CSL1/R805USQU1CSL1</latest>

Now you can see... in QA and/or Under Construction... is CSL1...

I hope this helps. :cowboy:

Best Regards

I have R805U, unlocked, CSC XAR. It still says that I have the last version. But as far as I know ATT and T-Mobile received 4.0.0.7 version. How can I check my FOTA link? Does anyone have the same model and CSC not upgraded yet?

excuse me, can u explain a little bit, what is CSC? you mean you change the baseband version of watch? mine is R805USQU1BSE3 and no way to upgrade it to 4.0.0.7

Can I flash SL2 version to my current SE3?

Yes, you can flash with Odin utility. But there is another method -- update via OTA. CSC -- is the region code of your watch. E.g R805U, when you buy it it has XAR region. When you connect your watch to a mobile operator it changes the region code, for example XAR to TMB (if you connect to T-Mobile) or ATT (if you connect to AT&T). So to be updated you need to change your CSC code manually. I changed mine to TMB.

To change your region you have to do steps described here on xda. For example: https://xdaforums.com/smartwatch/ge...sport-r600-t3771324/post76077212#post76077212

But remember -- your watch will factory reset when you change your CSC. But in the future you WILL receive all updates.

Thank you so much for your clear explain. I has flash the CSL2 to my BSE5, and now my watch on Tizen 4.0.0.7, your information help me alot.

Be safe bro, (and yes Happy Khmer New Year to you :d)

I hate how difficult Samsung makes it to download their firmware.

6 Customer Support Representatives from Samsung representatives have flat out lied to me at this point via their chat screen.

No reply to a posting on their community forum: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5...Firmware-amp-Help-with-SSID-Boot/td-p/2252152

Causing: 2 trips to Best Buy with false appointments that were emailed to me by Samsung.

I like Samsung tech - it's in everything, but this kind of thing does not happen with Apple products or their support people.

At this point – I would say Samsung is responsible for all terrorist attacks related to security vulnerabilities within the firmware for their hardware, because they make the original software difficult to download and this forces other websites to host firmware that may or may not have security vulnerabilities.

Why – because they typically lose legal suits intentionally in order to win market share and in order to win market share they have to make their own technology difficult to copy while infringing on the patent rights of others.

But hey – I just want my watch fixed. The rest is for WW3.

Yes - tried this R805U file through Odin, will post it if I can get it to work. Also tried other firmware files. Issue: Geographic regions locked to Europe. Flashed CSC and PIT file on separate occasions. Got new firmware to work - no impact to geographic regions that could be selected.

Will try this specific file again:
filename:
R805USQU1CSL2_Tizen_4File_USA (OYN) .zip

This firmware works well and brings the watch back to what appear to be factory default settings. However - flashing all 4 files has had no impact on what geographies can be selected.

Also: *#272*IMEI# to change the carrier reboots the watch and appears to do a reset of the OS to some degree - but still, no change in geographic regions.

Wow, this just gets better. So after being routed to Best Buy incorrectly twice I mail the watch in with an on-phone repair cost of $70.31 Samsung then emails me back a repair cost of $303.05 citing that the GPS on the watch does not work. This is a flat out lie because I already use the watch specifically with a GPS application that showed a GPS readout.

HOWEVER - the Barometer on the watch IS broken which they do not mention at all, and the geographic locations stored in the firmware ARE broken.

So - no firmware available from their website to repair this problem, 6 representatives giving all kinds of misnomer advice, 2 trips to Best Buy, 1 confirmed phone call, and 1 false service report with a cost 50% greater than what I purchased the watch for on Amazon and which was different than what was quoted over the phone.

Samsung - this isn't ok or ethical.
