any problem in the latest firmware from galaxy watch? i just bought mine, so just wondering.
Yeah. After the update, my battery was draining faster and i would get only 1-2 days use. Normally i would get 4-5 days battery life with casual use like just notifications and calls. I am not much in the recreation stuff cos i just wanna see the notifications when am travelling around on the road.
As i said since the battery was draining, i first reset my galaxy watch to factory settings. Used it. Still the battery was draining. So i reset my phone thinking its not playing nice with the new update. Same after that as well. Just 1-2 days battery life.
Thats when i decided to downgrade. After voila! After downgrade my watch is back to its usual 4-5 days.
Maybe its the little incremental update that kinda killed the battery.
But like many i am also keen on latest update, so I have been thinking lately, maybe i will give install the FULL (~600mb) R800XXU1BSA4 firmware update instead of the incremental and see how it goes from there. Will let you and the community know.
But since you had just bought the watch here is a little advice i can give. Check existing firmware version
Press Home > Settings > About Watch > Software > Software Version. Note it.
Then see how much that software version gives you for like around a week or so. Then hit the update.
Cos i surely can help you downgrade as long as you have a good laptop and internet connection around using team viewer etc.
