I installed this app and indeed, my iPhone 7 (non plus) is now seeing my gear s2 classic with latest fw. It installs without any issue and it works like a charm.

Thank you

I had to factory reset my gear in order to be able to connect. Give it a try.

Did the factory reset. Just keeps searching for the watch. I can connect via Bluetooth but it doesn't recognize through the gear app

Johnny,

What steps did you take? Also what firmware do you have on your watch? Maybe I'm missing a step?

1) First: kill your gear in the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone !!! The step is often omitted - but MUST be.
2) Than: factory reset the gear
3) start the GearManager
That's it
