Samsung Galaxy Gear

Released in September 2013, the Galaxy Gear is Samsung's first attempt at an Android based Smartwatch. The device is powered by an 800MHz single-core Exonys system-on-chip. The 1.6" Super AMOLED display has a resolution of 320x320 pixels, or 275 ppi. The Galaxy Gear features a 1.9MP camera, with 720p video recording capability. It has 4GB of internal storage, and 512MB RAM. A 315mAh battery powers the Galaxy Gear, which is charged by utilising a special Micro-USB charging case. Bluetooth low energy is used to communicate with a host device.
