I personally don't like MEGA because it wants me to install an addon for downloading bigger files, which should not be necessary in my opinion.
One thing I'm also looking for is possibility to upload files from the console (linux, of course), don't know which providers have that, will see.

Already using Oreo on my amami, will see how "daily-driver-ready" I'll get it to work.
For those interested on the current state:

Thanks, will take a look at it
did you try flash Sony stock camera ?
same things not working on my mint
Sent from my amami using XDA Labs

@SpiritCroc, have you got any ideas about why the FAT works sometimes and sometimes it does not (and in such a situation accessing the internal SD is also impossible)? It's a funny bug, should we get some logs?

NFC + HCE problem.

Hello, your ROM is excellent. It is the most flexible and functional, of all I tried for amami. But there is one problem. Support for the HCE and Mifare protocol for working with the NFC. This does not allow paying with the help of NFC technology, for example with the help of Android Pay. The question is, do you plan to support these protocols in newer versions of the kernel? Is it possible at all?
P.S. I test NFC by NFC Check app. (can't add image)

Pushed an unofficial build here, has working fat32-formatted sdcard for me

It's exactly the same as it was for me - it will work for a bunch of hours and then it's dead, and I'm 99.9% sure the SD isn't dead. Getting lots of "error -110 transferring data, sector <X>, nr Y, cmd response 0x900" messages on dmesg, shall I send some logs?

Dailer-Trouble

Hey there, i installed the latest nightly with the stock arm-gapps. Dailer has some trouble: Can call a number or get called by another but the "phone-screen" does not appear. So no way to quit or take on a call. Any ideas? TY
Dors.

Set Google Dialer as default phone app in settings > apps > click the cog at the top > phone > Dialer (or whatever it is called) opengapps are aware of the problem and do give you instructions once the phone app is installed (at the end of the install process for ZIP)

Hi,
I use this ROM as daily driver for about 6 weeks without major problems (touch is freezing sometimes, but this is well known for amami custom ROMs apparently). Thanks to the ROM team for your great work!
Still I got one issue not mentioned until now: Screen Mirroring does not work for me. I read about several problems regarding screen mirroring for rooted phones but unfortunately I can't find any fix.
I tried to contact directly to a Sony Bravia TV, via MS Wireless Display Adapter and via Windows 10 "Connect" app, none of these methods worked. All devices could be detected but it was impossible to establish a connection. Any help is appreciated!

    AICP
    Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!

Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.

If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or LAOS team, if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.
     *

If you experience a black screen in some apps (e.g. in Youtube or in camera app), please go to Developer options and enable "Disable HW overlays". Alternatively, you can also add a quick setting for this setting after having enabled developer settings. This setting is not persistent, so you will have to set it after each boot!

    Reboot to recovery not working

    You tell... :p

    instructions.png

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.

It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

    How to flash:

(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)

Make sure you have real recovery!
Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device
    Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
    Flash ROM Zipfile
Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional)
    Reboot to system

The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!

    Supported root solutions:

    Magisk v13.x

SuperSU - stable and beta available (Site by CCMT that took over the the marketing from chainfire)
SuperSU - direct download link for the latest SuperSU directly from the dev (chainfire)

Lineage SU-addon (check your needed version: 14.1 arm or arm64) -> the removal zip is available here too.

    PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash using the buildin OTA app that needs TWRP recovery installed to work.
You can still use LAOS recovery and OTA app, but you will need to download the zip file and flash it manually from within your recovery. Zip gets saved in the "AICP_ota" folder on your internal storage.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery.

New test build with 3.4 kernel up!

    Issues:
    - Missing splash logo
    - Sepolicy is permissive
    - Reboot to recovery not working
    - Possible black screen
    - Camera connection problems
    - ???

+ Stock binaries, much better camera than before :), performance and battery probably better too (needs testing)

It's a test build, has some issues and is probably not ready for daily use, so make a backup before trying out
    12
    WiFi issue fixed.
New test build is up; if no severe bugs are found, next official build will be based on 3.4 kernel!

    6.0 New rom link!
Quite long time very silent here. Does anybody know, if or when we might(!) see a progress for amami?
Since the bugs reported here I'm sticking to an old mm build from 19. Sept..

    1) Can we see, if there is hope for a android 7 N build with a working camera or an last update on the Android 6 MM tree?
    2) Independent I love the AICP builds, does anyone has a hint for an rom >5.1 e.g. lollipop with a decent working camera?

Camera is getting better, currently downloading new binaries to see how much improvement they bring.
Didn't upload a new build yet because progress is slow and probably nobody except for me would use it yet either way.
I also plan on updating 6.0 once more if/when the camera fully works again.

    Hi guys,
I have an idea how we could solve the camera issue. I've found a phone, called Wileyfox Storm, which has the same camera sensor (Sony IMX220) as the Z1C. And as far as I know, this Wileyfox phone has completely working nougat rom. Here is the device tree sources, if someone can use it to build the camera part of it, with our Z1C's kernel: https://github.com/PureNexusProject-Mod/android_device_wileyfox_kipper
