I was using the video camera of my Wife's M8 and the phone froze. Now it only boots into HBOOT / FASTBOOT mode. It is very laggy even when booting into these modes. The OS doesn't load at all. This is a non-rooted stock Sprint M8 - I'm sure out of warranty. I will definitely take it to a local store to see what they can do to help me.

I was able to perform a getvar:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot getvar all

I attempted to run the latest RUU I could find on these boards.

RUU_M8_WHL_L50_SENSE60_SPCS_MR_Sprint_WWE_4.25.651 .14_Radio_1.09.20.0209_NV_SPCS_1.52_003_release_42 6232_signed_2.exe

It errors out as the phone stops responding to the commands and the process thinks that the usb is not responding - even though it's connected.

I was really hoping to get more mileage out of this phone. Any suggestions other than taking it to the store?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Ok - not a lot of suggestions here. I went to the Sprint store. They offered to replace it with what's in stock for $75. Looks like it will be an LG G3. This looks like a very good deal. Would be nice if they could find another HTC, but I am getting tired of purple cameras.
