GSM Signal Issue

Ok, i don't problem battery drain, you can try last my build

m7 sprint version alway have low GSM signal level, sorry.

-update RIL wakelock symantics
-enable ambient display
-enable cdma options
-Update libril from android-7.0.0_r14
-enable sdcardfs (hope better battery and perfomance)
i will try make new kernel battery friendly if i can.
And i end this project cm 14.1 experiment.
Future, i will start new project.

I think it has something to do with the ASU value being reported which is always at 255. Try to look into that if you can.

From which source did you build this from? CM isn't providing the cm-14.1 brunch for m7spr ?

This developer is making a lot of different ROMs , its allowing us to see what is out there ,someone will hopefully pick this up once the source opens I think , goto android filehost ,search m7spr,this developer has made almost all the newer mm an n ROMs ,all have there goods and bad but each one works good for each different person

Download this ROM install,goto multirom in the m7 forum this allowing this to be used as a base for multirom , meaning you can install this ROM , and run all the other versions along it,use the no kernel boot in strings of recovery multirom

Oh man, this rom is perfect if mms/texting via carrier was fixed! It'll receive but not send.

I tried the dialer trick.

Now it is not so! I found a fix that corrects it is now an excellent signal, and is now displayed correctly ASU ))) Very well)))
I would be very happy if you add it to your ROM)

unable to use 5ghz Wifi and usb tethering is much much slower then on CM12. Was able to get a max speed of 120mbps(cm12) but now i'm only getting 10-15mbps(cm14).
