Hey mate is it possible we will see a ketan custom kernel in the Feature that tweaks the 8 gen 1 a bit? Its a fast cpu but i think the biggest x2 core needs to be downclocked to 2,5ghz to generate less heat... My phone is on ~40C most of the time (okay its hot in germany 25C but my oneplus 7t pro mclaren does this temps while Gaming pubg g and the s22 is doing it while Surfing...

Well looks like i will not be using this rom until this issue can be resolved. You say the rom doesnt touch google stuff. Yet I clean install the rom. Don't apply tweakspro or any mods. And then chrome stops opening, play store stops syncing and anything related to my google accounts stops working. Not really sure what the problem is since you claim the rom doesnt touch any of that stuff. but it must be. I've tried 4 clean installs keep having the same issues.

looks like i'll just sit on stock with magisk root for now

Do you see anyone else have reported similar issue? Unless I get how to reproduce or informative logs, I can't fix anything.
Only I can suggest you to make sure you are on same base as said in changelog

No of course im the only one with the issue lol -.-

im on the exact base firmware that was listed in the changelog it matches the version on the rom tool.

how do I make some logs for you so we can get this figured out. because there is nothing wrong with my google apps before flashing the rom tool

I made sure to check chrome it was still working after flashing rom tool but safteynet was failing so then I applied safetynet fix and noticed google apps stopped functioning correctly. Keeps saying Network error on most google apps. but other non-google apps with network work fine. And there is nothing wrong with my network my other devices are working fine.

this makes me sad because I've been using your roms on lots of Samsung devices for years and been donating and loving all the work with no issues.

I flashed back to stock with magisk 25.1 and boot warning removal applied. Everything back to the way it should be to install rom but I will wait maybe there is a way we can log my whole process?

One thing to try, which is a long-shot, go to Apps>Google Play Services>Open>tap 3-dot menu>Uninstall updates. Let it do it's thing. You will be immediately prompted to update GPS or your device may not work....reboot. When device comes back up, update GPS.

ok i will flash rom and try this. then i will try using my apps and report back.

Edit: Weirdly everything is working this time (so far) I have gotten as far as applying essential fix, safety net fix, going to continue and see if any google issues come back

I did notice when restoring backup that i got a screen saying "Optimizing Apps" which I previously never gotten thinking maybe this helped fix the error but not sure yet.

It failed to flash TWRP in ODIN. VBMETA fail, Device; 0x2, Binary; 0x0
I managed to flash Afaneh92's TWRP and vbmeta_disabled_R.tar.
It seems like no one has any issue but me?

Hm well can't save 3minitbattery settings because the storage location is read-only. any fix to this?

edit: well this is interesting, 3minitbattery will let me save to emulated/0/Downloads folder just fine and now its working. But for some reason the pre-loaded 3MinitBatteryIcons folder keeps saying it doesnt have read/write access. Which is strange because root browser pro isn't showing any differences in permissions compared to the other folders.

Changed its storage to downloads for now instead of default. that works.

Now only if it would let me overwrite system ui audio files so I could customize with my metal gear solid ogg files. just wont let me overwrite or change any permissions

It's ok now I updated my stock rooted to AVF1 and installed S08 with your APK on 908E Snapdragon and Wearable working 100% now.

Important Instructions for setting up ROM (NEW)

Prerequisite :

• Must have installed firmware S908*XXU2AVF1 S22 Ultra
• Rooted device with Magisk (Zygisk) Intallled (read post #4 in case you have non rooted device)
• We recommend to make EFS (IMEI) backup as soon you root device and keep copy to safer place (outside device)

Warning!

We strongly recommend to make backup data before installing ROM Module, non matching verion or other factors may cause bootloop and you may needed to Factory Reset in certain circumstances. Also ROM Installer may prevent it by installing bootloop protector module but no guarantee!


ROOT & TWRP
You must have rooted S22 Ultra to use this ROM

Once you have rooted device, below is guide about how to install ROM

How to Install Dr.Ketan ROM Module (New!)

• Download app ROM Installar XDA S22 S*.apk and and Install as regular apk (* = ROM verion)
• Uninstall any other magisk module you have installed
• Open ROM Installaer app → Grant SU permission → Just seat and relax. It will auto download ROM and Install automatically. You can see process on screen. → Reboot device when asked.

Benefits of ROM Instller : This method have some extra benefits over regular installation like

• It won't process if no root access found
• It will block installation on wrong devices
• It will abort Installation process if MD5 doesn't match (Corrupt download) to prevent bootloop.
• Also it will show current firmware version and available firmware version (You should not install if there is much difference in firmware base) Read prerequisite above for recommended firware)

How to Update Dr.Ketan ROM Module (For those who are already on Dr.Ketan ROM Module older version)

• Remove all magisk Module
• Update new base firmware according prerequisite & Root device (read post #4 for more details)
• Install Module as per said above "How to Install Dr.Ketan ROM Module"

Setting up device first time after Module installation

• Open ROM Tool from app drawer and Apply essential fix and Reboot,
• After reboot you can check SafetyNet and should be passed. You can use this app from playstore or This from Github to check SafetyNet (ROM Tool will offer to install this during Essential fix too)
• Now you can further setup ROM a per your liking. Also MagikHide is Configure Denylist now and available under Magisk Settings.
• Since A12 new Magisk (Zygisk) doesn't have buil-in Module repo, You can get standalone module manager from here (ROM Tool will offer to install this during Essential fix too) For more details and queries about new magisk ref this

Important Note for Dual active SIM users :

After Module ROM Installation, Internet/Network may not be available, Once you apply esssential Fix from ROM Tool- it will detect it and fix on it's own. Netork/Internet will be available after reboot.

PS : Plz don't install any other mods for SafetyNet, All queries related to Magisk/SafetyNet will be ignored if already explained above

For other users it is working, I don't use wearable so can't test. Simply disable ROM module if you think S08 causing issue and continue using stock.
