Hi guys,

I just knew that in rest of the world portico update will be released only in february (shame on nokia!) so I decided to update manually.

Is this firmware (the newest one I found) sim free?

CV GB is the general UK firmware.

That's the same of mine... Look for the one with 1004 on the end with the newest fw version and you will see CV GB

Does it actually lock it to EE? flashing the CV GB wont unlock the EE handsets?

hi guys i was trying to flash my italian lumia 920 with your suggested cv uk portico firmware following this guide

but i got 2 errors

1 failed variant package for requested sw version
2 you have chosen not assigned product code for this device, do you wish to continue

any help?

Actually is the one ending in 3003

Product: Nokia Lumia 920 (RM-821) -> Releases: 1232.2110.1244.3003 -> Variants: RM-821_CV_GB_VAR253214_v3_Black_(059R075)

Any news on this? I have a sim locked to EE/Orange/etc 920, can I flash a different rom to use my O2 sim?

I found some week ago on navifirm now it's not available anymore...2-3 days ago I downloaded and installed Vodafone Italy firmware to be sure it works prorperly with my Italian phone, btw also this it's not available anymore...nokia it's pulling down navifirm
