Project Treble for HTC U11




Dear Community,

Venom ROMs takes the next big step for your HTC U11. Now, it will support Project Treble. We were able to make Treble A. It can boot GSI ROMs created for Treble A.



Thanks to @JEANFRIVERA @Mikee4fun for all tests you did for me to make this Treble Project. , @tbalden and @Freak07 for help with kernel, @5m4r7ph0n36uru, @Captain_Throwback, @MassStash, @donmarkon for support me!

This will re-partition your device and it will format your internal storage, do it at your own risk
It will take 1GB from internal and create a vendor partition for proper Project Treble & GSI support. To revert any changes done by the re-partition RUU is requierd.

Installation.png


  1. Must have unlocked bootloader from htcdev.com or factory S-OFF
  2. Download Project Treble files from Androidfilehost.com
  3. Boot to TWRP
  4. Flash „HTC-U11-Trebelizer.zip“ from recovery UI
  5. Flash „HTC_U11_Treble_support_001_SINGLE_SIM.zip“ or „HTC_U11_Treble_support_001_DUAL_SIM.zip“ (depends on your phone) from recovery UI
  6. Flash GSI Treble-A ROM
  7. Reboot your device
  8. Setup and enjoy a new ROM on your HTC U11!

Hello, is there any source code? I use U11 daily and prefer to check it before flashing.
Maybe it's already on GitHub but I searched and did not find. Btw great job! :)

No source code, but you can open the zip and check the script yourself, this is not a Rom or a kernel, or an app, there is no requirement to make a source code

    The project will be updated soon to support Android 11 GSI.
    Currently, we have successfully booted @phhusson GSI and beta version of ViperExperience with HTC Sense. I see that Camera, Bluetooth, NFC work fine. All other things will be tested soon and files will be updated here as soon as possible. You can look on some photos of progress.

    Hello everyone!
    It took a while and of course I think it's not possible for me to fix all errors in my project by myself. So I have decided to publish the new 002 version. It's still alpha but it can boot phhusson's treble ROM and ViperExperience ROM. If you want phhusson's ROM you should choose vndklite-ab ROM. The boot image in 002 zip has been already patched to boot such type and we have tested it. All basic things should work but of course all GSI ROM's are different and not all will work without problem. So please provide logs and full description of all you will find.
    Hope my work will be useful for someone and together we will be able to make ROM 100% working.

    Be careful, your partitions will be resized, to restore all back you should flash RUU.
