Introduction

TWRP 3.1.1-0 for MI MAX 2 built under LineageOS 14.1 source, everything is up to date as of this package is released ("adb push" is faster in adbd of 14.x)

Installation instructions

1. Download recovery***.img and rename it to recovery.img
2. Unlock bootloader >>
3. boot into fastboot mode by holding Volume Down during power on (or reboot)

4. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
   fastboot reboot

Features

Mostly built from source
Tweaked and Built for Max2 (oxygen), not for mido
Extra fonts (Chinese etc) are enabled
Crypto is enabled, can access /data without wiping it

Warning: Although this is designed for Max 2, this project is in Alpha test status.

Known issue: will be overwritten by official system/recovery (seems fixed in 20170712)
but MIUI refuse to boot up if even 1 file is changed in /system

When official ROM booted. no time to resolve this problem for now

I have some OTG problem (seems to be mailfunctioning) I tried to see if it will work from TWRP, but it doesn't!

I don't have a USB-C OTG cable, so I can't test it... It should work, but if you say it doesn't then I will look into it.

ZCX TWRP is not available for the MI MAX 2 at the moment. Sorry!

Guys those of you who are using Los please install this app and let me know which features are enabled in Los? In miui only exposure control is enabled. Even though camera api 2 is enabled on this device.
