Im using the X2 panel manager on my Touch Pro 2, and the X2 panels are running fine, the fish one does it's job as well. But some panels in this thread (Media panel, on the road) don't seem to load at all. Is this because of the X2 manager? Should I start using R3A manager? Whats the difference between the X2 and R3A manager anyway?

they are VERY different

the beta leaked "R3A" panel manager (which by the way was never used in the official R3A firmware upgrade) was a simple evolution of the stock original panel manager, but basically the same

the new panel manager inside the X2 is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT (check the videos I uploaded to youtube)

PS: DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, I MADE A CAB INSTALLER FOR THE STOCK ORIGINAL PANEL MANAGER
I just added it to the front post, so please TEST AND REPORT

hi there guys, i wondering if you can help? the problems is i keep getting a white screen when i try to turn on the Pixel City panel. i've installed ActiveX Dep and the panel does show up. i just need to edit registry keys but i am unsure what i have to edit it to? can somebody put it in stupid-people terms pls?

I dont know if it will change anything, but I installed in the order you say, but I installed the SDKCERT cab first: ftp://x1:[email protected]/XperiaX1/APPS/sdkcerts.cab

Everything works just fine on my X1 Norvegian R2A

i need to download this but there is a username and password.

i cant download it anywhere else unless someone mirrors.. do you know what it is?

At the very top of the first page there are 2 alternative links to excellent sites which have all panels, including the Growing Panel.

(The text at the top of the first page is;

Hey Gtrib..

I installed the ActiveX deployment then the new manager on my Xperia X1i.
then i installed all the panels available on this forum.
Everything is running fine and smoothly.
But
i encountered problems in two panels:
1. The Growing Panel: The panels runs smoothly but the date that floats at the top along with time has something wrong with it. The year value keeps increasing all the time, the last digit of the year keeps running from 0-9 all the time. so its like 12/02/201[0-9]... is it normal or is there something wrong coz it seems it is not able to decide what year to stop at.

2. The Media Experience Panel with Radio: While installing this panel, it said the previous version could not be uninstalled, continue which i continued with the installation of the new panel. Now when i load the new panel, it comes up ok but all the icons in it are blinking and when i select an icon, it enters into the sub menu but immediately returns back to the main menu with all the icons blinking. I tried to unistall it and go back to my original X1 panel, but it says the panel was not uninstalled completely remove from list? on selecting yes the screen refreshes but nothing happens its still there. and now i can see two Media xperience panels in my installed application list.

Please help me with these.... I am stuck.

im new here. I have a question. I install new ROM and work great. But the camera have a little bug. 1. I dont have a flash
2. When a take a picture them go to the first (original) window to take a picture and there is sign me a error.
But i upgrade a camera and is the same thing. Doesnt work. How i fix that?
And second question is.
Is important to install first ActiveX Deployment and then a ROM or first rom and then ActiveX Deployment?
Cos i install only ROM. And where do i install ActiveX Deployment???

Jus' wanted to say, tried and tested Facebook Panel, and works PERFECTLY but is just a bit sluggish on my Xperia. Quite a unique UI, but usability could be improved for the Facebook, like "commenting". Jus' thought I'd drop a likkle comment in.
