Did you:I am having some problems.
I've downloaded and installed the following today; R3A Panel Manager, ActiveX Deployment, On The Road, Growing Panel and Media XPerience Panel.
However, when I click the Panel button, nothing happens... the bar across the bottom that has Calendar and SPB on it just flashes, then nothing happens.
Any ideas?
Thnx a lotSince the .CAB files are for a non-Swedish ROM they install to the root folder "Progam Files" while a Swedish ROM will execute program files from the root folder "Progam". The installation of the R3A versions of XperiaCamera and PanelManager must therefore be moved to "Program", making sure they replace all files there. In addition, the XperiaCamera needs to have the file name of the language file (in the "Language" folder) renamed just as was the case for the YouTube panel (from *0401*.dll to *041d*.dll for Swedish). This rename only makes the R3A XperiaCamera app work under the Swedish ROM - the UI is still in English (the pictures you take from now on will end up in the folder structure "Camera" rather than "Kamera", etc.)
I had no problems installing the Active X deployment. Atleast not any that I am aware of...
Yes, That is what I have done. I uninstalled everything, and tried again. It says the R3A Panel Manager may not work as it was designed for a previous version of windows?Did you:
First install ActiveX, soft-reset?
Then install R3A Panel Manager, soft reset?
Then install Panels?
It should work if you keep this sequence (it did for me).
Hope this helps.
thank that one is working...Do you mean this one??
Are you registered with XDA?
Hope this workes for you.
Thank you for the feedback. I will try removing SPB and other third-party software (that I can easily add back if I need to)..
ATTENTION:
I think some of the problems reported are not related to the new panel manager itself but to third party apps (SPB ??) and ROM language (ENGLISH ONLY ??)
The new panel manager has been downloaded tons of times,
I understand only users experiencing problems wil come back to post (for solutions, of course. If it worked fine most users won't come back to post), but that's a small proportion compared to all the downloads
I'd suggest to stick to the old panel manager unless you have UK or NAM ROM, which are the ones I tested
In the mean time, I will also try it over spanish and german ROMs to see if I get the same results

I dont know if it will change anything, but I installed in the order you say, but I installed the SDKCERT cab first: ftp://x1:[email protected]/XperiaX1/APPS/sdkcerts.cabTO ALL OF YOU HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE NEW PANELS:
1- I have tested it myself on two different phones and works a treat,
zero problems !!
2- You must have some third party app blocking the new panel manager
3- The correct order would be: Install ActiveX deployment first, soft reset, install the new panels manager, soft reset, install panels one by one and test each one
Let's work this out:
- What's your ROM and language ??
- Any third party app installed ??
- Xperia Panel Tweak installed ??
- sdkcerts helps ??
I have R2A008 NO ROM, was not fresh after Hard Reset, I hav several programs on it, NO tweaks! I installed SDKCERT (reboot) AxtiveX (reboot) new Panel Manger (reboot), I then installed New Media Panel, Growing Panel, and On The Road Panel, after that I installed New Camera CAB. Working great here! For those people that have managed to get all the panels working? What sort of conditions was the phone? was fresh from a hard reset? Were there anything else installed like custom icons, keyboard, panels? Im going to hard reset my phone and see what we get!
