I have R2A008 NO ROM, was not fresh after Hard Reset, I hav several programs on it, NO tweaks! I installed SDKCERT (reboot) AxtiveX (reboot) new Panel Manger (reboot), I then installed New Media Panel, Growing Panel, and On The Road Panel, after that I installed New Camera CAB. Working great here!

My only problems are: I cant find Growing Panel when I try to add it to Panel Manager, I see it installed under /program~/panels/ but I can't add it to Panel manager. Anyone had this problem?

i have the same problem... growing panel is not avaiable in panel list... i think that growing panel doesn't work

you got to do a registry entry you have to change the folder destination into program(of course in your Rom called folder for programms )
or you create the folder program files and put the hole growing panel folder into it

but i couldnt do it succesful (the folder trick...)

id doesn't work... the folder "panels" (strangely an english word into a italian system rom) is a subfolder of italian folder "Programmi" and it contains all other panels ( and growing panel too)... creating a different root with "program files->panels->growing panel" nothing has changed... the growing panel still to miss in panels list

Sorry I can not help to test out your issues because I don't use TF3D
I am experimenting over stock english ROMs for the time being, and everything, even the new MXP panel, seem OK on two phones (NAM and UK ROM)

@fulgore69: Your problems may be related to the non-english ROM
May I suggest you to do some tests by installing the new "Xtrack" game (which comes with the new R3A ROM and I suspect instaled the new drivers ino my phones because all the new panels are running very well here)

I will post a video: you won't believe the level of speed and stability, how smooth and fast this new Panel Manager is

Yeah i install xtrakt game and it seen to do something because now it takes longer to install R3 panel manager, and now it work very good
But i must say it consumes more resourches like 35% in the first panel.
And in the R2 panel manager the first panel consumes only 26%..
But some nice improvement in R3 panel manager is you can listen to music with Media panel and change the panel and still listen to music....
And thats is so great..!!!!!!!
I think i will stay with the old panels...Because i have seen many improvements in the R2A Media panels...Like not getting hot when listen to music like in the R1.....
Well thanks again for these updates...Maybe it will work much better i am sure when it comes with the full rom....Drivers and other stuffs...

You have to edit the Registry
HKLM/Software/SonyEricsson/PanelManager/Panels/GrowingPanel
of course after having installed the Panel!!

and then change all the Paths of
MMI_DLL,
SWF_FILE,
LargeLandscape,
Landscape,
LargePortrait,
Portrait, and
DLL

which is by default "Program Files" (even if its installed correctly into your Programfolder) into the correct Programfolder of your device!

Thats it!

i did it and it works fine with my German ROM

by the way, i think I Don't like this panel anyway.

Anybody got the fix of the Problem with TF3D Panel that hangs with the new Panel Manager??? is their anybody working on this?

only to copy the folder growing panel into program files is not everything there are some other files and folders to copy^^ for example the Flash Panels folder

you have to got following things in Program Files:
Program Files/Panels/Growing Panel/
Program Files/Flash Panels/FlashPanel(dont know the ending)

i did the registry tweak an it works^^ is a very nice panel the way like sonoftheboss

phone freeze and non-reponse after installing X1_Panel_MXP_MR2_R27_35200

The phone froze; i managed to delete the panel via the usb and the operates again.
Installed skype, youtube and cnn. Skype og youtube panel selectable, but does not work. Should they go into the flash-panel folder and does it require reg edits?
the CNN panel show in the panels folder, but not on the panel-chooser?
Advice, anybody?

hi i need some help please....

i installed the activeX and the RA3 panel manager. but once it started up again after the reset i cant change panels easily any more!? i have to click on the panel button three, four times b4 i can get the panel screen to appear...can somebody please help!? i tried to uninstall panel manager to see if it would fix it but then once i restarted i couldnt even access the panel screen as it said a .exe file was missing!?!?

also since i installed panel manager i cant run tf3d anymore it just says loading when i try to start it....?

im pretty new to all this only got my x1 a couple of days ago. so any help would be very much appreciated!

This is probably a silly question, but how do you edit the regestry? Do you need a special program? Because I can't find "HKLM" anywhere. Could you rephrase it for simpeltons like me??

I prefer to edit from the PC, so I chose a PC app and connect my Xperia as usual

Final got the growing panel to showup in the panel list. So i selected it and try to start it...al i get is a white screen.

Any1 else got this and found a solution?

youve got the same problem as me geo

here is my solution to your x1
instal activeX and R3A panel manager
when you reboot X1 it will show you error, until here am i right??
its error but you can still access Setting by tapping the left bottom corner on your screen
then you need to uninstall something from your X1
example: uninstall Xtrakt
reboot then
your X1 is back as normal
instal Xtrakt again and play

The new Panel Manager is great, but I miss the buttons for "settings" and "change view".
Did sombody noticed that the pictures for the panels are smaller?I think it looked better in the old panel manager.Eespecially the fan looked much better in the old version.
A nother thing is that the new panel manager often crashs. The only thing you can do after the crash is putting out the battery, because the phone doesn't react anymore. I hope this problems will be solved in the finally version.
