Final got the growing panel to showup in the panel list. So i selected it and try to start it...al i get is a white screen.

Any1 else got this and found a solution?

I made my better effort to bring the new Xperia camera to all of you, many days of hard work, trial and error, hard resets, test... and I finally managed to do it for UK and NAM ROMs, but most people post only to complaint about "not being able to use it on other ROMs"
I don't even ask for donations
And it DOES work fine for those ROMs

May I better stop posting/sharing my crazy ideas and CABs ??
No more ports/CABs maybe...
Impossible to please everybody

After all, all the required info is HERE (xda-devs)
I learned here, patiently searching and reading, trying and testing
Everybody should better DIY

Gtrab thanks for all your help....
I must say the new panwls work in all roms...The problem is that in other languages roms we have to edit the registry...Because the keys said that the panels is install in program files, And in spanish for example it is "archivos de programa", So just rename the key values and save them...
And it would work 100% all panels working....
But i am a little dessapointet with the media experiencie panel....So you see when you are watching a video and then stop it and go back to menu the screen does appear for a moment middle black....So maybe need new graphics drivers....
But the panel manager of R3 is really fast...
So thanks again nice research and keep doing it so well....
Hope you can someday release a full rom....I read somewhere you where trying to cook....Hope it has Spanish support to

news about the official skype panel? i cannot see it on SE site.. the panel posted in first post is a beta panel, language in english only and only one working option avaiable ad working , the voice in lower left corner "skype"...

When I go to personal settings to the button settings, where I can define the right and left button, there appeared 4 new buttons called "Button" which have no Assigments (<none>). How can I delete them from the list?
They appeared after I reinstalled the Panel Manager a few times.

I type my name as username and my real email address as password, it doesn't work. Many thx!

You have to edit the Registry
HKLM/Software/SonyEricsson/PanelManager/Panels/GrowingPanel
of course after having installed the Panel!!

and then change all the Paths of
MMI_DLL,
SWF_FILE,
LargeLandscape,
Landscape,
LargePortrait,
Portrait, and
DLL

which is by default "Program Files" (even if its installed correctly into your Programfolder) into the correct Programfolder of your device!

Thats it!

i did it and it works fine with my German ROM

by the way, i think I Don't like this panel anyway.

Anybody got the fix of the Problem with TF3D Panel that hangs with the new Panel Manager??? is their anybody working on this?

Any trick like this to recover default taskmanager on top right , to easy toogle between aplications ? or any soft that can help to make a work around ?
Actually Im using taskmanager 3.1 , its a grate tool but cant replace original one .

At first I wasn't sure wether this had something to do with in/reinstalling the new Panel Manager, now I do. I hope we will find a solution for this. It's not a big problem, but it's a bit anoying.

I fixed it , but with lot of luck .

I usually do a lot of SPB Backup , everybody knows that to reconfigurate all software its allways a hard problem .

I just did a spbbackup with taskmanager missing , after a couple of days I installed something that kill batery in severall hours ......

I did a restore with spbbackup without marking ROM backup , I did in the simplest one .

Then everything was working properly except camera , but to solve camera was as simple as copy paste .

I did all my stuf install on a light ROM , then I restore it to a R2A rom

• New Media Xperience PANEL -> Tested OK, requires ActiveX Deployment and new Panel Manager
  My opinions: Radio ncluded, greatly enhanced, faster transitions, pics displayed lightspeed, loads my 800 mp3 in a breeze and even adding album art (thumb cached ??) GREAT IMPROVEMENT OVER R2A !!

Don't forget, that the new Media Panel can finally read wpl datas, so you can create you own playlists on your PC and use it with the Media Panel on your phone.
That sucked soo much in the old version, because you had to create the playlists with the media panel itself (putting every single track to the playlist).

A problem i noticed it that sometimes the "reeds" in the background and the clock disapear when I switch back to the Media Panel. Hope this will be fixed in the final version.

Spanish Rom , Spanish SPB Shell too

But problem for me wasnt SPB Shell , was a mising default task manager , that really dont remember if that was caused by instaling R3A panel manager , or previously installed mini litle ROM .

hi, can i install the new panels on 6.5... ?? if so will i have to install activex and new panel manager aswell or does it already come installed on Itje's 6.5 21202 rom.
