I don't think you can. Cotulla made a wm6.5 rom with USB host. And there is a android ics kernel patched with it. Also it is not real otg since no power comes from phone. You have to use a powered USB hub. If you need links to any of the above I can find them for you.
Edit; a Bluetooth mouse might work, not tried it.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459999 for the patched ics kernel, you should be able to use it with any ics (sd) roml, just swap it with the existing zImage.

i wrote about this problem... this is problem with WP7.8 RTM and new Live accounts...

you must flash
HD2_Pdaimatejam_Rom_Wp7.5_Tango_7.10.8779.8_v8.4

(unfortunately) open new Live account on computer (dont open account on phone), add this account to phone (also need to enter activation code, no need for new)

set region on phone, download something from marketplace and this be locked region....


now you can flash WP7.8 and use Live account with locked region...
