Clear launcher defaults. Press home or back out. Select Nova as always, then go into nova setting and select pick default launcher and make the default the touchwiz one. You only need to do it once. See if that works. It worked for me.I played around with the uploaded one earlier today and noticed a few things. Now they both could be related to the permissions issue but thought I'd mention them in case they are not...
1 - Titanium Backup refused to load in my license text file from either my external micro SD card or internal memory.
2 - The Home button does absolutely nothing at all when you press it in any app, menu, etc.
Outside of those two things I really like this ROM so far. Very nice to have something that is quite debloated and feels much faster when doing stuff. Looking forward to the next version when it's uploaded. I would recommend probably having some kind of changelog added in somewhere along with potentially having a version number or something in say the topic (along with date). That way then it'll be easier for folks to know when a new version is out and what not.
I'll let you know what happens come 2nd Edition once it's up. I'll also test Titanium Backup on it and see if that issue is fixed as well.Clear launcher defaults. Press home or back out. Select Nova as always, then go into nova setting and select pick default launcher and make the default the touchwiz one. You only need to do it once. See if that works. It worked for me.

Battery life mainly depends on user. but with with this rom almost all apps that have to do funcionality are removed making it super fast and snapping with not many touchwiz apps battery hogging in background. in my experience i am getting better battery life and speed with this romis the battery on this rom better than the original beans rom?
Lol how can battery life be compared to another ROM when this one was just released yesterday?Battery life mainly depends on user. but with with this rom almost all apps that have to do funcionality are removed making it super fast and snapping with not many touchwiz apps battery hogging in background. in my experience i am getting better battery life and speed with this rom
14 hours of uptime still gives a good understanding of what the battery will be likeLol how can battery life be compared to another ROM when this one was just released yesterday?
Takes time to go through a cycle, and first one shouldn't count as you tweak the ROM like a madman after first boot, restore apps/Play Store updates that eats a lot
And if you are judging it only a portion into a battery cycle then that's not accurate
I believe so, I compared. On beanstown106's rom I only got about 24 hours and 6 hours of screen time. On this build 1 lasted 30 hours of up time and 7 hours and 15 minutes. I'm not trying to advertise for my rom, just my experience. Most likely because I removed so many ram hogging apps.is the battery on this rom better than the original beans rom?
Ty, but Thank @foreverlocoThose on/off toggles are sexy af
Is rom still uploading or am i just missing the link??
He is just saying his experience.Lol how can battery life be compared to another ROM when this one was just released yesterday?
