Not exactly sure of your question but there is a custom settings menu to change modes and layouts.

I am hesitant to root my phone, until we get a legit AOSP out there. I am curious as to the stability of this ROm and if it has known flaws like Netflix, cameras and recording and so on. Anything minor like certain apps or w/e is fine, but I just need the majority of hardware working with Netflix 
If these do work, I will highly consider rooting this work for this ROM.

Standard jb gapps work fine. Google them. I'll look into the link.

May just be a really stupid user error, but I don't see any option for Trebuchet settings nor the "Autohide."

all my favorite devs from the samsung epic fail 4g who made that phone into a god until i upgraded to this beast have done it again. You guys continue to amaze me with your production speed and quality. Keep it going.
Netflix was working perfectly for me when the rom was in phone mode, if it was in hybrid or tablet it didnt play any of the videos, just an FYI.

I run nova and it's settings show up in the main settings menu so I'm not sure about the stock launcher. What do you mean by auto hide?

Is there hardware acceleration for videos?Because in latest cm10 there is no audio in videos,and videos play choppy under software mode.

The motion feature is Touchwiz, so yes, its gone in this rom.
