Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.

With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.

Also, we got our Telegram Group to talk about the ROM, share some love, ideas or even have fun with us!

Some of the features that are included on this ROM are:

* Volume Keys: Wake up, skip tracks and switch according to rotation
* Show song album cover, visualizer and battery info on Lockscreen
* Power Menu Items
* Battery LED light settings
* Suspend Actions: Make your device disable GPS and switch to 2G when you're not using it
* AppOps: Manage your apps permissions in an advanced way
* Recent Styles: Dig the new Pie Quickstep recents, go back to the classic layout or use the Android Go layout
* Network icons: Show or hide the cross, switch between 4G or LTE, use the classic icon layout before Pie or toggle roaming icon too!

• Forced Encryption is disabled
• Fixed dt2w
• Fixed Reboot issue while pressing vol + and - simultaneously
• Added default hotspot name to Redmi
• Dumped SnapCam and added GCamGo
• Fixed Offline Charging (added Pixel charge animation)
• Imported common HWUI props from stock ROMs
• Other changes same as Cosmin"s Lineage MiAtoll
• You can Flash GApps but only NikGapps
• A Clean Flash is necessary

There is an LRTWRP that was removed from xda. If u use telegram, search for @Curtanadiscussion or @rn9_universal.. These are device specific groups that could link u to it!:D

@OGHyperion You're welcome Brou I have this rom on a samsung j5 from 2015 and it's still alive carrying bootleggers rom on android 10 and follow the story with this note 9s really thanks, I hope the updates continue to be able to install the gapps :) a favor could put the double tap on lock screen to wake up phone

I'm experiencing a little bug in the Music app that's included with the ROM:
Everytime I enter the page of an artist the app crashes.

It's not really a dealbreaker since using another app solves the problem. Other than that the ROM is great.
Keep up the good work!

EDIT: apparently the problem is related to the connection made with last.fm to download images of the artists. By disabling the download of these images the app does no longer crash.

Found a few bugs.

red lines appear on screen shots, and swipping on notification bar.
reboots on screen record
reboots on cast

I was suprised the LED worked, no custom rom has a working one. thanks
that's all the bugs i found for now.
sorry for lame picture, i took it with my webcam my other phones are on storage cause i'm remodeling my room.

Wow! Nice... apparently i flashed it on my friend's j5 too.. there was a significant improvement in all aspects!:cowboy:
the double tap to wake was supposed to be an easy fix.. but unfortunately it isn't.. but ill try fixing it tho! also the next build will have gapps inbuilt!:D

the red line issues can be temporarily fixed by turning the QS blur off!..
and thanks on notifying about other bugs!:D

The title is confusing: Stable for Curtana then miatoll :confused:

Afik miatoll stands for unified: "All "Redmi Note 9 SD 720G & Poco M2 Pro new unified codename is Miatoll MI = Xiaomi Atoll = Snapdragon 720G"

Would you be so nice and explain confusion?

You are absolutely right! But what I meant is that I used the MiAtoll trees to build for Curtana!
And yes, technically it is unified... But I couldn't find testers for devices other than Curtana! Hence this is a Curtana build with MiAtoll trees!

    And yes, technically it is unified... But I couldn't find testers for devices other than Curtana! Hence this is a Curtana build with MiAtoll trees!
