it is a shame there is not like an rr add-on that can be just installed on to any rom, would be so cool if it where that simple

Build 0902 and 0917 for i9192 home button work fine (wake device)

Just tried again on i9195 and yes home button wake works but only if the Nav bar is not in use. It's a Shame that on both RR 8.1 and RR9 they allow both nav bar and hard keys to be enabled together but for some reason it is disallowed on 10!
It is a pity we Cannot have 8.1 or 9's RR tools on the Q ROM. Also I noticed there is appsops included either!

Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)

Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
Flash Google Apps package(Optional)
Flash Magisk Root(Optional)

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

Whilst 8.62 works fine and tested, the amount of configuration available on the Pie and Oreo roms is so much more than the Q.
I like to have both soft keys and hard keys enabled at the same time as some of my apps use full screen due to configuration and are not suitable to soft keys. Also I like the idea of being able to asign custom soft keys. On my phone I have a customer Whatsapp key and an Instagram key along with the soft keys. Are there any plans to add more configuration options to the Q rom? thanks.

Enabling both the hardware keys and nav bar at the same time sounds like a bug than a feature, so maybe RR fixed it for Q, but I don't know for sure. Anyway, this is something to ask the RR rom devs about.
@cemoibob, please ask the serranovelte devs about RR support. I am unfamiliar with their sources.

Hey guys. Got a problem here. After flashing latest RR for 9195 I'm trying to install gapps 10.0 nano (without reboot, right after flashing ROM) and I'm getting insufficient space on system partition error. Is there any way around it?

Yeah, got around it by installing pico. Initially I thought I have to install nano because I have to have damn google assistant for some other app to work as intended but I was wrong. Thanks for the info about BiTGApps, I'll try them out next time.

Hello, here also: I have i9192, tried both SIM slots, none of them works with the latest ROM. Flashed with TWRP 3.4. I read multiple things about some replacement of files dealing with the correct modem, but I didn't find a workable solution. Please help us

Others with this problem on Lineage have found success by flashing updated modem. Don't know if it works for RR; but if RR is a fork of Lineage, then it's worth a try:

Others with this problem on Lineage have found success by flashing updated modem. Don't know if it works for RR; but if RR is a fork of Lineage, then it's worth a try:

Gt-i 9195 test on 8.64

I first installed TWRP 3.4 - I am not sure if upgrading from 3.31 made any difference but i thought its worth mentioning.
Installed 8.64 with no issues, followed it by installing GAPPS Pico and no issues with installation.
I did a Bluetooth copy from my pie 9195 and all apps installed fine. Happy to report that google assistant worked fine without having to manually reinstall it via TWRP as I had to with the pie version.

I have not yet tested it with banking apps, however I have successfully ran whatsapp, instagram and facebook. *note* facebook must be logged into successfully before instagram as for some reason the instagram log-in will not work on Q.

As it was mentioned that there where issues with Chrome, I tested it and found none.

Issues.
When the phone is 1st switched on from being off, it takes up to 4 attempts to successfully enter the pin due to the phone not accepting the pin until it finishes some unknown background tasks.

As I cannot use a smart nav bar which was present in 8.1 and 9, I have used gestures. However gestures only work once I have gone through the RR menu, selected system, gestures and then clicked add gesture - the saved gestures then show on the screen. After this they all work until the phone is next switched off.

Wake up from home key only works when the keypad is activated and the nav-bar is turned off - a bit of a pain to get used to using the power key, so i have gone back to using traditional buttons.

I will report further once I have checked the banking app. Otherwise it seems much more stable than 8.62 however since there has been no change log published, I don't know what the changes are.

further test completed after changing build.prop to release-keys from test-keys
banking app test (bank of scotland) successful.
Google Pay app - test failure.
Noticed also that if I just type in the pin but do not submit it, i can get in 1st time but its still slow on 1st try.
I am unsure how to use split screen on this version of android.
I will stick to Pie for now as I use Google Pay all the time and for me this is a deal breaker.
