I'm sure I have done exactly as stated except with the gapps part, is gapps absolutely necessary?? But I'll give it another try.
gapps are not required for the boot.
If the other attempt fails flash 12.0.3.0 with miflash(cleanall) or twrp with zip.

Hi, I seem to have issues with Google cam, even with the native RR cam. Whenever I open either app, it just immediately shuts down. Why is this??
@mickaelmendes50 How are things going with Android R? Can we expect a R version of the best custom ROM out there? Have you received your F2 Pro yet?
I have Global rom 12.04 , flash twrp flash rom. but it stays on RR logo , no booting.. I wait more then 10 minutes.. nothing.. keep rolling RR sign
I don't think so either. Come to MSM Xtended - it has crazy battery life and a lot of customization options. I don't know about crdroid though.
I have problem , I am on global rom 12.2.4 ,every TWRP that I flash make me problem with format data, I got error unable to format data and my partition show 0mb
You need the twrp-3.4.2b-1206.img (you can find it in MSM Xtended forum thread). Since I don't know where you get the problem with the format - you can try the following steps I made, when I had a problem https://xdaforums.com/t/rom-11-ota-lmi-msm-xtended-xr-10-01-2021.4178289/post-84236259

Thanks, I try it and didn't have luck, I use global ROM 12.0.4 and flash rom without problem ,but it was stuck at logo , I was waiting 25 minutes.. nothing.. couldn't boot

Last change was done 3 months ago.
Right now, you can move to another ROM until the developer finish Paranoid Android. I prefer crDroid, it's very stable and has a lot of customization.

Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package
Boot into recovery
Perform a data wipe, FULL factory wipe and wipe cache and dalvik cache as a precaution
Don't wipe system (bootloop issues)
Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
Flash Google Apps package(Optional)
Flash Magisk Root(Optional) (Recommended after first boot)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes.
OR
Install LOS recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Reboot to recovery
fastboot reboot recovery
Format data/cache
Inside LOS recovery menu: "Factory reset" > "Format data/factory reset" and "Format cache partition"
Flash the ROM
Inside LOS recovery menu: "Apply update" > "ADB sideload"

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Hey Guys! The @ZerynJR is the main dev of this project. I'm here just for support.
There's some usefull things you may need to know before installing the ROM.
- Make sure you're running the lastest firmware (12.0.3 or above)
- TWRP (mauronofrio) or LOS Recovery should work fine for installing it.
- GApps are not includded.
- I straghtly suggest you to use the grey color for Fingerprint

- Auto brightness not working.
- FOD works but isn't good (try changing its color).
