Unfortunately you can't "fix" that. It's a Samsung safety measure. In the Note 8, I believe, there was a physical fuse in the phone that gets tripped when you root the device and I only imagine Samsung keeps using that measure in their current devices, except now it's accompanied by a warning message.

I also want to add, I don't know what you mean by "full price", but you wouldn't have been able to sell the device for the price you bought it at, anyway. It's over a year old and it's been used. Trying to sell an old, used device asif it's brand new to try and make as much money off it as possible, is a bit of a scummy thing to do.

There is a way you can make appear like that warning isn't there, but it would mean to root the device again and flash a custom recovery. Dr. Ketan has a file you can flash that replaces the warning message with the default bootup screen, so you don't see the warning, but it makes it seem and feel a little like the device takes longer to boot up, but only by 5 to 10 seconds.

You needs to re lock bootloader.
From developer option disable oem unlock and then reboot to download and there you will see long press volume to lock bootloader - do it. This should remove warning

Dr already said it will be the last release on android 10, after that he will work on android 11 rom as soon as official release will be out.

Odin can find device in said error screen too
To get download mode
Connect device to PC - Keep holding vol down + power
As soon as device boot, hold vol up +vol down

Recommended Installation Steps

We Don't recommends/supports dirty flash, but one thing to note, you always should remove lockscreen & Biometric data before flashing ROM in case you gonna flash dirty.

If you are on Pie version (Stock/Custom) - Flash Stock Q first (recommended to have same base of ROM) and then follow instructions below

If you are already on DrKetan ROM Q* (Previos version ROM) then

download N97*_DrKetan_Q*_Ian_TWRP_Cruel_Kernel_For_base*_extract_this.zip - Extract N97*_DrKetan_Q*_Ian_TWRP_Cruel_Kernel_For_base*.tar.md5 and flash using Odin for AP tab - Reboot to TWRP and Flash Latest DrKetan Q* ROM with simple factory reset (No full wipe needed) NO NEED TO FLASH MULTIDISABLER

Now follow below given tips and go through Add On & Bug bix section below

If you are on stock ROM (Rooted/Non Rooted/Other custom ROM) or facing Bootloop/Sreen lock (Device reboot on unlocking device) after flashing ROM

Download Installation guide also available in download area (Includng fix for samsung lockscreen bootloop fix.) and Follow it

MultiDisabler is require only those, who want to use stock ROM + TWRP. If you want to flash DrKetan ROM, DONT FLASH MULTIDISABLER

Once you manage to fix it, follow below given tips and go through Add On & Bug bix section below

Important Notes once you finish installing ROM

DON'T INSTALL ANY DISABLER/BT FIX/MAGISK anything after flashing ROM, as ROM already pre patched for all these stuff. Additionally flashing may cause issue. Also you shouldn't WIPE device after flashing ROM, but It should be before flashing ROM.

- It may take 6-7 minutes to finish installation. once installation finish, select reboot to system

- After this first of all open magisk and check if installed correctly, If it ask for complete additional setup, let it do and reboot.(If ROM being installed as said, then it won't ask)

I recommend to disable magisk notification (Magisk - setting - superuser notification - none (This will make mods to work much faster)

- On newer magisk, default status of Magisk Hide is disabled, Enable it to pass SafetyNet & for hiding root for other apps

After looking magisk is installed properly, open ROM Tool and apply essential Fix - Reboot device after applying essential fix

If you are using Gear watch or other accessory, setup it and finish rest of personal installation.

Done !

Special Note for Gear wearable & Gear SPay

Spay (Gear) working out of box (As per my test), provided you have installed required apps.
To connect it flawlessly,
1.Clean Install ROM + Open ROM Tool and Apply Essential Fix - Reboot
2.Make sure Magisk manager safetyNet check pass
3.Connect gear with Bluetooth (Gear should factory reset) and this will auto install all required apps.
Once Gear connects, simply open Samsung Pay from Galaxy Wearable app - Hide it in Magisk Hide and you should able to add card.

Important : If you want to use EdXposed with Gear Spay then first add your card before installing EdXposed


I recommend clean Installation only. If you are able to handle consequences with dirty flash then proceed, but don't post bugs in forum without clean installing ROM.


Tips,AddOn & Fix

- 3 minit users can use 3minit battery paid version for free. Check this (Thanks to gharrington )
- Custom splash bootlogo
- ROM have included custom kernel that compiled with magisk integreted, So when magisk update available, you can not update magisk (It will cause bootloop) If you want to stick to custom kernel, wait till developer release new version with buil in updated magisk. In case you can't wait, you can use stock kernel and update magisk, here below is guide to update magisk.

• Download stock firmware
• Extract AP_*.tar.md5 and patch it using latest magisk, extract boot.img from patched file
• Download TWRP and patch it using latest magisk
• Now flash patched TWRP and extracted boot.img from recovery as image

- Stuck while flashing something (Bootloop), How can I reboot to download
There is a golden rule that always works when you stuck anywhere (bootloop). Follow this -
1.Plugin device to PC
2.Keep holding power + vol down
3.As soon as screen goes blank, keep holding vol up + vol down (here you needs to be quick)
And you are in download mode.

- EdXposed You can directly install from Magisk download repositories

- Read ROM Tool - Update & Fix if any new available.

2.Dirty/Clean Install. - If you have dirty installed, Then first clean install and report if issue persists.
3.Bug/Issue appears right after installing or later?
4.How to reproduce error.
