hey guys, need some help here. I messed up something during ROM installation and wanted to flash stock firmware using Odin and then start the process again. I downloaded the latest firmware using Frija tool (Model G998B, CSC: BTU). First of all is that the correct CSC to put in Frija or doesn't matter? This is the error I'm getting in Odin. I think it is saying I am using an older bootloader but I'm not sure so was wondering how can I go back to stock firmware and then try to install the ROM again?

Edit: I am still able to get to TWRP if I need to do something from there.

Why not try and flash the rom again, following the clean install instructions, factory reset etc... Don't forget to flash the BL, AP files etc as provided in the zip.

If youre trying to get back to older patched rom with older bl and modem...forget it, you cant go back...the csc doesnt matter...you can always select the right country in setup rom. So try to download latest released rom frija and flash accordingly.

In friza put csc DBT then you will get latest firmware same as R03 base

Thanks for the replies guys. I was able to get back to stock using INU as CSC actually and now I am rooted and installed the ROM also

Is there any way I can disable remote support in device settings? Any time I click it it downloads smart tutor apps from playstore and wanted to disable it with adb but I'm not sure what the package name would be. I am using t-mobile on this phone if that helps.

My Galaxy Watch (R800) has no issues pairing with this rom.

1. Will this update use the Same super.img file as R03? If so, saves me from copy and pasting to my phone again...

Try this.
Download > extract and and push on data/adb/modules/ViPER4AndroidFX/

overwrite if existing

set permission 644

reboot and see how it goes..

thanks for the instructions, I got it working finally. Just a weird issue i'm having, I copied the presets to data/viper/files folder but I can not get them to load. Or even when I create the preset and save it, it doesn't show up. Any way I can fix that?

Confirm dirty flash from R03 to R04 went smoothly.. no issues...
