I am on a German VOG-L29 but not in Germany
I am on 10.0.0.195
I was at Huawei Experience Store yesterday
They said for now its the latest and 10.1 will be pushed soon, maybe sooner to mine than to others because its German
If I check for updates its says up to date
is the Huawei Firmware Finder still working? I used it for gettin 0 day updates on EVA-L19 (P9)

I dont use Google on the phone, like to get a new experience with Huawei and EMUI only
how to remove Google Bloatware?

I found yesterday a free app that has a paid version for 3-4 bucks called Flaoting Apps, is that something that 10.1 have integrated called Multi Window?

Does some also has this weird notification theme error? Already had it on 10 and hoped they fix it. After multiple notifications are popping up and I pull down the notifications, some of the are turning white and translucent. I guess this has something to do with themes and dark mode, but it is occurring on every theme so far.

Can you submit this theme?

Great, can you swipe that multi device panel from bottom left or right corners?

Also, when you have a messenger app like hangout in the multi window dock and you receive a message, does clicking on the notification open the messenger app in a floating or full window.

Lastly, what patch number did you get? Patch 02?

I guess this was a customized one. If I remember correctly this should be p40 pro black by lexdroid

Great to hear. Are you able to go from a notification straight to a floating window app? Saw this on a video but it's also not working for me. Seems that at least three or four features don't work.

Noticed also that despite smart charging enabled, the phone hits 100% consistently even when charging shorter periods like in the morning from 40% upwards.

in some cases floating window is not working, true... when am watching yt and receive message on wechat, floating window is working fine... maybe it's working only with Chinese apps... i had a problem with wireless charging, but only for first charge after update, now its normal...

The Multi-Window Panel is reachable by swiping from left or right to the center + hold/pause 1s in center.

When receiving a message like you described, the app opens normaly like opend it in app-drawer.

The multi window is different from the multi device control panel and it's apparently not included in the 123 version. Thanks for confirming the notification thing, thought it would open the floating window - shame it does not, lowering the whole point of the floating windows.

Do you know if this is possible, or how to enable wifi-calling without updating? I read that the last security update enables the wifi-calling feature, but I haven't received any update. I'm in the United States as well. I appreciate any into, and many blessings to you!

I had WiFi calling since 9.1. it's a carrier issue, not really an update issue. Had my phone at EE in UK and now at O2 in Germany, both working with WiFi calling

I found out that the ringtone on incomming calls sound by fade in from low to loud. Does anyone know how to make it start normally without fade? This happens to me after 10.1 update.

?, YES, rollback to EMUI 10 ?

I'm affraid there's no way of changing ascending ringtone on calling, even if you set up a videoringtone or set ringtone at highest value...

I don't know atm if this ascending ringtone is a feature or a bug ?

Seems more like a bug since almost every smartphone has this feature but you have the option not to use it. This is emui's issue on every device running 10.1(a friend with p40 pro confirms this).

PS. We might say that is a bug, but maybe Huawei thought about it as a new cool feature, maybe one of their software engineers found an old device with that feature and said ''why not, let's get this cool feature on 2020 EMUI 10.1 software'' ?

Lost call recording function after update to 10.1. regretted.

My phone drain battery after the last update. The reason is bluetooth.
I use the smartwatch and over night battery goes down approx. 20-30%.
When I sent music from Spotify over bluetooth the phone is warm and battery is discharged after 1 hour.

I will Wipe cache partition.
By pressing and holding both the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds I get the EMUI screen.
I can't find Clear Cache, just Clear Data. Additionaly when I press the Volume Down button to scroll nothing happens. The phone is frozen.
I cannot restart by pressing Power button to confirm selection. I have to hold Power about 10sek to restart

Select 'Clear data' then it opens up 'Factory reset' or 'Wipe cache partition'.
Sometimes I get the button freezes but the options can also be touch-selected on the screen.
I never have the button freezes on my Mate 20 X.
