In safestrap in advance if I wipe data will I loose the contents of my internal storage like my ROM zips? Reason I'm asking is because my SD card slot is bad so I have to make sure that internal storage doesn't get wipped I'm on nc2 wanting to flash stock rooted oc1 in the stock ROM slot.

No, you can only wipe internal if you check internal storage in advance

Ok, I flashed the stock rooted oc1 zip in the stock ROM slot I wiped everything but data and external storage in advance in safestrap. Now that I got everything set up I can't boot into safestrap I tried manually booting into it but it doesn't work. When I click on the SS app icon it says that its installed but its not active.

youngdragun,

Where did you find the tazzy rom volume fix ..

Thanks,
Actually I found that the file didn't work so I extracted the file to see what the "fix" was. All that was in the file was basically an .xml with the same basic values that are already in the rom. What I have done though is I used a file explorer, found the sound .xml and adjusted the values and guess what? It fixed the volume issue. :D

So far this has been IMHO, "THE BEST ROM", I have come across for our outdated and non appreciated N900A. I'm not saying its great out the box, but with fixes this has been super fast, smooth and error free. Now I don't use social media apps so I can't speak for everyone but with what I use this phone for it is dang near perfect. I love the Edge app, the new Clock and love the movement of the icon for Clock, I like the look of the messenger app and the email app, and other than the s pen non functioning button I couldn't be happier. Thanks Carl :good:

You're probably gonna have to ODIN back to NC2 and then root all over again. Next time you flash this rom from Safestrap make sure you advance wipe all except external, 3 or more times. Then flash rom, flash wifi fix and then OC1 firmware and reboot. Reboot to safestrap again and flash any of the s6 email fixes and any mod like exposed and 3MinitBattery. After all that I would edit the mobile network file and then customize it how you want.

First boot takes like 5 to 10 mins once any rom is flashed. If its not booting after 10 minutes and there is no blinking blue status light at top left then you have soft bricked and you will need to go back to stock to make sure you clear the system and will have to start over.

Yeah i waited for nearly 15 Mins without any change in logo or Led lights indication . BTW i flashed it in a rom slot and not in the system Rom slot .

Does that change anything .

and In case of Rom issue is thier any way i can get into safestrap wihtout Rom just like normal Custom Recoveries

I never use the slots. If this is your first time trying to flash then that might have been your problem. You could try a hard reboot. If not just ODIN back to stock and try again. You are soft bricked.
