Safestrap

I installed this rom yesterday and got it running nicely. I then installed Safestrap and chose to Install Recovery but when I reboot I never get the prompt to go into the Safestrap Recovery. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas?

Thanks for the quick reply. I found the NC2 Flasher and that part works great. I can't seem to find the OC2 kernel however. I found the OC1 kernel in your other thread but when I flash it in Safestrap recovery I have the same issue... I don't see the prompt to boot into recovery.

thats the same kernel OC1 and OC2 or identical,

you need to understand, for lolipop rom's we have to install the NC2 kernel to get safestrap to work ( NC2 Flasher app does this for us, then when your finished with safestrap doing stuff you then install the OC1 kernel so lolipop will boot.

Oh, I didn't understand that. I guess we need someone to update Safestrap to run on kernels newer than NC2.

We don't have anything other then oc1 and oc2 newest.

We won't see a 5.1.1 no time soon. They want us to upgrade devices

Samsung tells you to ask the carrier and AT&T tells you to ask Samsung when you ask about 5.1.1 etc. It's like a game. But you're right they just want you to get another phone and let the Note 3 wither on the vine. They hope we'll be loyal and buy Note 5 or the S6 Edge plus. I just purchased a Nexus 6P and love it!

Theme Warning

Just as a warning... I applied the Material Dark theme (see screenshot) and it caused the screen to be unresponsive except for edge bar. The Home Screen will flash from it to one with no icons and the System UI crashes over and over. I tried this three times just to make sure it was the Material Dark Theme.

The way I found to get out of this, Hold Power Button, Restart, Safe Mode. After it boots, Safe Mode will load the Default Theme back. Restart Normally and everything should be back to normal.:good:

remembering wifi is fixed with last update, soon as I find issue for the video streaming FC I'll update

Make sure you have xposed framework installed then flash the CM12.1_Netflix_Fix.zip reboot device. Then install the .apk file XposedCM10.1NetflixWorkaround.apk then go to xposed then activate the module then reboot device then netflix will work.

No , the reason is all apks do not have but English and Chinese in the code.

I notice if you factory reset after flashing ROM the Google Play Services doesn't pop up while on YouTube app etc.
