No it doesn't, I did the update and it wiped nothing at all.

How can I force PC Companion to update my phone to update / repair another model, like the C6503 ? I change the build.prop file but PC Companion still reads my phone's model.
Anyone get this working?

strange... here i saw so many users from brazil who gets the update, but mines still have no upgrade in the PCC =/
P.S. i've been satisfated with the latest upgrades, but the fact of no root is higly ANNOYING ¬¬ i dont want to lose all my apps/pics/videos/game progress just to do an downgrade to root this 4.3 version. sony makes a big error in this way.

yes, you'll lose your root if you're on locked bootloader.

Anyway, since this is just a minor update, I am gonna wait for root, can't afford to lose it right now
No... but the 6503 system and kernel work fine... just don't flash the baseband...

I have a 6503 which is currently running cyanogenmod. What is the best way to get this latest stock ROM with root? Do I first have to flash an old stock ROM and gain root and then flash this new one? Any suggestions?
