I was on 4.4.2 NC2, before using the "Very Easy" method to update Kit Kat to Lollipop. Since last night, I've been at the "Galaxy Note 3" boot logo. I've flashed until my eyes burned out, and I'm still there! I'm hoping flashing all of the Lollipop files above ^^^ in Odin will alleviate the problem. I really don't want to have to JTAG this thing!

You are correct. But this is how its going to be unless someone finds a new Root exploit.. Last one that was released was TowelRoot. Hell Note 4 ATT & Verizon still doesn't have single root exploit. (They have been released for like 7 months now) haha..

You could use any Odin above 3.90+

I got a SS rooted lollipop backup from someone who followed my method in that other thread. And as a result I was able to make Stock Rooted Lollipop ROM.

Oh, I just dropped the superuser files (su binary, superuser.apk etc) into OC1 OTA .zip that ATT deployed and then someone flashed that modified zip using SS instead of stock recovery..
