How to install baseband only by Odin:

Don't quote this message, because I'm updating frequently.

No more need to flash the whole stock rom.
I extraced the modem file and you can flash it with odin.

Link to Odin.

-start Odin.
-Select CP-button and fetch the baseband.tar
-Only thing checked should be "Auto Reboot"
-Put phone in download mode
-Plug in USB
-hit Start
Let it reboot and check if u have signal.

I'm about to try this but which google apps version should I download?
I think package 20140606 but just asking to be sure :]

Btw, I'm not sure if I'll have the audio bug, but if I do, will it be still there when I restore my CWM backup?
I think I remember some1 saying this in another thread.
Thanks

All are working, but I will look for better ones. I8730XWAMK1 was better on my phone

can we update the BB after all stuff instaled, or it must be done previously?

my current BB is I8730XWAMG1 and i only notice some noise in the phone calls, besides that i dont notice nothing that major, but im not a music fan anyway.
currently so far the shorts bugs i found are.

Keys vibrating cannot disable them, logcat posted im previous posts.
a litle battery drain and some noise not that relevant in the phonecalls.

@Svennen thinks I8730XWAMK1 is the best so I would go with that. No big deal if it does not work as very straightforward to replace with another. Great work @Svennen, with your contribution and @szezso's work (thanks again) means everyone can use this great rom. Thanks to all that contributed and I would like to personally acknowledge @aureljared who kept us all motivated.

Nandroid backup CM and flash stock rom again.

I can update BB and back again without trouble, I have no idea why some users can't.

The basebands seem to be different for each carrier and might vary in different region (eg. Vodafone seems to be everywhere but might have different basebands in different countries). Maybe the best approach is for those having the audio problem to state their carrier and region and someone who has worked out the right combo, share what works for them. Of the opinion these phones are pretty hard to brick but would cut out the trial and error.

No, when you restore your stock rom with a cwm backup, the audio bug won't remain.

EDIT: To be sure, simply flash one of the basebands with odin, Svennen put out of the FW's, that should kill the audio problems on cm11.

i do not think it will solve, i use the latest baseband of the region, and the previous version, not the same good as the stock rom which is more smooth and softer
