Format data again, and retry.
That's odd. What were you running ? Wiped data ?
Stock AQJ1. Installed TWRP. Restored boot and system. Yes, wiped data, followed your guide. Second time wiped cache and dalvik as well. Can do full setup, Google account, restore some apps, iris scan, but when homescreen shows it takes a few second and then blackscreen.

Try without setuping anything, just connect to WiFi, input your name, and then setup your accounts etc.
After restore everything works fine. After first reboot i have a boot loop. After animated bootscreen led turns off, phone have a 3 vibrating, 1 pause few seconds and next 2 short vibration. And over and over again. Do you know what is happend?
its actually working now for me. i didnt set up samsung account this time! and i can reboot aswell. lets so how it goes, i will update 
I want to install root but i saw there is no data partition inside TWRP and i just want to go back to the system, and boom. Bootloop
Hmmmmmm, which twrp are you using ? And you didn't do anything in it ?
I've been rebooting and going to twrp without any issues, so that's odd.
latest TWRP for S8, and like I said You before I do nothing inside TWRP. Now I try tu restore your DUMP again. I hope this will be helpfull. If not...
It is not that bad situation. I can format data so after this I can also install diferent ROM so...if after second DUMP restore and testing reboot system goes to hell, Im save.

No reboot this time ..
Setup with WiFi, no Google, or Samsung account, no nothing, only 5 google apps updated. No reboot for last 10min.
Will wait a while before setting up the rest.

OK. After restore sustem runing fine for a just a few minutes. Before login to the Samsung account my phone had a auto reboot and bootloop again. Before setup my phone I rebooting phone few Times with and without entering to TWRP and everything looks fine.
Seems to be some weird stuff randomly happening for some of you guys, I wish I could pinpoint the issue but for now it really seems to be random. If one of you could logcat, that'd be great, maybe I could get something from there.
Looks like we got an Iris problem. After the register my iris data, my phone had a auto reboot and stuck on bootloop. Trying to format data now
I just register my finger prints, you register your face...so this can be a problem with secure stuff

20So, there is a LOT of fuss going on with Oreo Beta.
We all want the latest version of Android and it;s not easy, as Samsung definitely step-ed up their game this year.
We won't have any Odin flashable ZIP combo this year, and it gets really frustrating trying to get into the beta nowadays.

This is where this thing comes in :
First of all, the version you are on DOES NOT MATTER.
Secondly, you need TWRP in a working state.
Thirdly, BACKUP EFS. I am not responsible if anything goes wrong. This works on my device, but I cannot be responsible if ANYTHING GOES WRONG.
If you cannot mount /data, format your data from TWRP, but backup everything before.
The following steps are to be used using internal data, even if it probably does not matter, let's keep it simple shall we.
These steps will format your INTERNAL STORAGE. BACKUP ALL YOUR PICTURES ETC ETC.
Also Mount points seems to be different in Oreo, so TWRP is not able to mount /data at all.
Once TWRP has formated data, choose reboot, and reboot to recovery.
From there, once TWRP has rebooted, proceed to make a short and simple backup, for boot.img for exemple.
This step ensures you have correct folder structure and all.
Plug your phone to your computer, and browse through it.
Go to TWRP/Backups/somerandomnumbersandletters/
Paste the extracted folder that I provided in the .rar
Go back to main TWRP menu, choose restore
Restore the boot and system from there.
Wait for it to be done, and reboot.
This has DM Verity off, and will boot for sure. The boot literally takes ages. On the first try I almost gave up before I've seen the LED turning off and system starting.
And it also has Knox turned off.
It is a dirty method, but it does work, and with this you can have Oreo as a daily driver.
Oh, and there is no root. I've heard SuperSU works flawlessly, but did not try as I am fine without it.

Restore TWRP backup,
Flash https://build.nethunter.com/android-tools/no-verity-opt-encrypt/no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1.zip
I forgot to change the build.prop before making the backup, so this will boot but will reboot randomly.
