I see, and in my situation do u think I need to get another copy of the 2400258.zip file as long i am still getting errors there , or what is my chance now ?

I would check my files and make sure the MD5 number match, I had issues and when I checked the MD5 numbers they showed a bad download of two of my files

I did make it to 100% and it stop with no error, so I close it and started the next step.

I was goofing around with Safestrap, and ended up with no os and a softbrick. I luckily was able to install the KitKat leak, but it is buggy. With this tutorial I was able to return to 4.3, and have root back.

10 is just for root re download the bad files and start from 5 make sure to open as administrator if your still having issues re download all the file's and do it again

I am kind of lost here i am sorry, which step i can start from now ( I think i can not start from step 3 cos my computer can't see my phone anymore ).
How I can make my phone work again , tell i get good education about that root

When I flash the 2400258 that is what i got :
Everything match with yours except MI9 img file, mine start with 8FB78848887DD8413071F2B491C30256 and the size 1,847,924,804.but it match each other.I would check my files and make sure the MD5 number match, I had issues and when I checked the MD5 numbers they showed a bad download of two of my files

Will a factory reset unroot or mess up the phone after I root it using this method?

I did Download MI9 file again and that's it , working now .
but after i am done with step to root and installed SuperSu , rebooted couble time and still the device status saying Official , so I am done rooting or still not yet?.

I don't know. All I know is the file needs to be on my SD card for this to work. I am hesitant to start without knowing what the file is or where I can get it.
Well I followed the steps and now I get a "Direct pen input has stopped working" based on a google search, I need to reflash with the stock mj5 rom using odin.
Where can I find that?

Alright. I got everything figured out. I am now available for the support of others.
Its just a MIRROR to the same mi9fix. if you READ the instructions fully you will see they never call for this special file. you are good to go if you have the mi9fix file downloaded.
i JUST did this about an hour ago and saved my phone from a soft bick. and i am now on drakeys knoxraid and running super smooth. all the files are there. dont worry about that mirror file.
follow the steps one by one slowly and they will bring your phone back from grave.
After step 10, still no root.
After I made it to step 10 ( unzip the file in internal root ) and installed ( manually)SuperSu, rebooted couple time and no root . try to open even SuperSu and said no root .. what i am missing here.

i am trying to restore to mj5 (ive done it twice already). when i get to the heimdall frontend. and hit start, it only begins to download the PIT file then i get an error. i am not sure what to do. i am trying to restore to mj5 so i can upgrade to kitkat. any help would be appreciated.
Yea I didn't root that way. I just used kingo like I did when I first got the phone.
