you need to installI cant even get Heimdall to run. Getting this error. Running on Windows 7 64bit.
THANKS MAN! That did it! I could have sworn I installed that at least once. I am back at stock and ready for Kitkat!
if your already on MJ5 why do you want to do this?ok seeing as im already on mj5 cant i really just use step 3 and not go any further.....just the fact that one of the files is mi9 and hearing that if you try to downgrade mi9 from mj5 it will brick your device just want to be clear on that
Only as a precautionary step just in case something goes wrong that I could return to stock if need to as in if I had to return for warranty or something like thatif your already on MJ5 why do you want to do this?

Or like myself and others who were on stock rooted MJ5 and the new update refused to install.Only as a precautionary step just in case something goes wrong that I could return to stock if need to as in if I had to return for warranty or something like that
did you do this?I've followed step by step on how to go back to MJ5 ROM but for some reason it's not letting me use Heimdell Suite properly. It's not detecting my device and I have no clue what to do. It's actually very annoying. Never have I had this much trouble Rooting a phone.
If we had the official MJ5 then we could then do as ATT device support center,Are all these steps necessary if you want to go back to ATT stock MJ5?
I just went to ATT device support center, they side load MJ5 to my phone in 15 mins, dude didn't even look the Knox count and Pad Lock Custom logo, the only thing he said was "everything on the phone will be lost, is that ok"?
Looks like you forgot to install the kitkat files in the to boot folder.I'm in need of some help. I tried to install Knoxraid kitkat through safetrap and something went wrong and wouldn't boot past the Samsung logo. I am trying to restore back to MJ5 and when I get to step 3 I keep receiving an error that nand write failed and on the phone screen it shows unsupport dev_type in download mode. I have tried in both windows 8 and 7. Is there anything that can be done or is it a lost cause.
Here is the exact error I get in Odin.Looks like you forgot to install the kitkat files in the to boot folder.
You getting this error , or you sure you're doing every thing correct. The op instructions or very easy
